I'm trying the traditional cuisine of Jambi called Toman Fish Tempoyak, out of curiosity. Tempoyak is made of fermented Durian. The taste of the soup tempoyak is pretty good, tasty, sour, and refreshing, with a sprinkle of durian sweetness. The Toman fish is fresh and delicious. Gotta try this whenever you arrive in Jambi.

Tempoyak Patin in this place is the specialty of this place. A hint of durian taste in the broth, combined with the sambal, it's my favorite when visiting Jambi. Not that expensive too.
