It kind of looks like the set from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, but there's nothing gloomy about soaking up the sun and Island life of Sulawesi from the hidden gem which isTasik Ria.OK,the manager is my friend,and that's what inticed us here, but very soon we became used to the joys of simplicity ,and embraced being surrounded by the unspoilt beauty of nature.
Famed for being set in waters that boast being one of the best diving sites in the world both for water clarity and diversity,Tasik Ria is primarily a diving resort with boats leaving the jetty daily for the nearby coral reefs which are protected Nature Reserves.
The snorkeling is equally as excellent if you prefer.But nothing beats watching the sun go down every evening from the jetty,armed with your favourite tipple...life doesn't get better than this 🌞🌺🐠🐟🌴🍹

Nice large rooms, shared dining experience. Good access to Bunaken for diving.

Very friendly staffs and manager. So much hospitality. Good foods, great hotel room. The diving too was great. The visibility are awesome. Worth every penny. Gladly to be back in the future. Thank you

I recommend booking the place through hotel's email; got better deal than tripadvisor or trivago as I deal with the manager himself. Room was superb. Staff are friendly & attentive. The resort is best for diving & snorkeling. Can make arrangements with hotel for Minahasa/ Tomohon/ safari tour although you should get a closer accomodation if you are into volcano/ jungle trekking. The resort also have spa & can view sunset from its private jetty. Breakfast included with room rate; food is basic but for me is ok. Location is about 1 hour (with traffic) from Manado town, so not suitable if you are into shopping.

Hotel gardens are amazing. The marina and beach and Jetty bar food is all local and organic. Scuba diving diving Bunaken national park and the local dive sites you see things that blow you away!

As you can expect from a resort, wide area, has its own ship dock. Extra effort just to walk for breakfast, but it paid in full with the scenic tropical beach. Plus you can have snorkeling spot near to the resort or short trip arranged from its dock

Spacious resort with excellent value for money. Large 2,5-chamber rooms meeting upscale european / us demands.
Beautiful facilities. No annoying TVs.
The standard rate is about 1 mio per room dependig on the package.
Breakfast restaurant on a peer is very nice, but staff could be more relaxed. Breakfast is disappointingly basic. Main restaurant serves excellent food and beers.

Love this place and staff here are really good when the manager is around. The chef made lots of nice food for us.

The room was quite luxurious, each equipped with air-condition, re-fridge-generator, laundry, hot water for shower. The food was western style and standard. I recalled one of the divers cannot finished the dish consist of hamburger with 15cm in diameter with 5cm thick beef. The ship was a luxury catamaran, with two toilets and shower facilities. The dive gear was set up and cleaned every day by Eco dive the dive operator. What we did is only relaxing, eat and go dive without set up the gear. No need to lift the tank. The trip was 8 years ago.
