Strong cigar smell in the room. Breakfast is just so So. Location wise, it's good. Just by the sea and near a mall.

Bad service. I got room without towel, i complain to frontdesk and housekeeping but not one came to give me towel. Please dont stay at this hotel.

Worth to visit. Ask for the sea view room. The room is luxurious, there are semi apartment rooms too. Try the local food at breakfast lounge. Just beside anjungan Nusantara where you can find many food and merchandise. Online taxis are easy to find.

Lion Hotel & Plaza Manado, Lokasi sangat strategis, dekat pantai. Hotel sangat besar. Satu group dengan Lion Air. Publish rate di atas 1 juta, jika datang langsung Rp 736.500 untuk type Superior twin bed yang view ke Kota. Ini type paling rendah. Pelayanan saat check standard. Saat masuk kamar, saat baru buka kamar, tercium bau kurang sedap, seperti bau baju yang tidak kering. Sprei tempat tidur juga ada bekas bercak. Sayang sekali hotel ini maintenancenya kurang.

Dari awal kedatangan sudah sangat mengecewakan, toilet di lobby kotor, bau dan pintu rusak.
Dapat kamar 1 AC rusak, air flush rusak, pintu rusak tidak bisa dikunci, mau telpon ke FO ga ada list info nomor2 telp yang bisa ditelpon. Minta handuk datang lebih dari 30 menit, minta mekanik sampe 2x telp. FO marah2 dan berkata tidak sopan. Jalan akses ke kolam berenang seperti gudang dan kotor sekali. Akirnya kami minta pindah kamar, dan ternyata kamar baru handle shower lecek, putus dan air tidak bisa dimatikan walaupun sudah dipanggil mekanik. Pintu ke arah balkon tidak bisa dikunci, teko untuk memasak air bocor dan handle dipegang panas, kamar mandi untuk membuka dari bagian dalam tidak ada handlenya.
Masih ada bonus lagi, malam setelah pulang dinner dan kamo harus menggendong anak2 pintu kamar tidak bisa dibuka karena ternyata waktu kami dipindahkan kamar kunci tidak direset pindah nomor tetapi tetap kamar awal kami, mekanik datang tp tidak membawa kunci master dan kami harus menunggu mekanik kebawah mengambil kunci master dengan menggendong anak2 yang tidur kecapaian.

Room is spacious, very good, they have attached shower room and toilet. However, they don't have smoking and non-smoking room meaning guests can smoke inside the room or inside the building freely.
Linen and pillow is quite smelly/stinky and got mosquitoes inside the room. I dont get towel and had to request it to the housekeeping until 3 times, sigh. Aircon is also not working.
Music from their bar is very loud so if you have noise problem, my suggestion is to avoid stay on 5th floor .
Overall, not happy to stay here

Nice hotel which has strategic beach side position in central of manado city. Near to Manado town square shopping centre. It has good view to the beach.

Dirty shower and towel for my room. Very slow service and lack electronic housewares (no hair dryer, iron, electrical adapter (when asked for))

Speaking of location wise, it is excellent, in the heart of the city and by the sea. However, service and room is very poor. Hot water is not running, narrow shower area, operator and front office are busy that cannot be reached. Smelly towel, dirty bathroom.
I booked thru online agent, however what i get is different from what i booked.

Nice place. Dekat dengan pantai dan punya pemandangan yg indah menghadap pantai. Selain itu dekat dengan para penjual durian.

I have to say the service was fantastic.
But the hotel was not.
The room was smelly, wall papers were moulded and in a very old and dirty condition.
There are multiple staines in the shower, no hand soap, dirty shower gel container.
You know what is the worst???
The dirty smelly rotten beddings.
Not just there are stains on the bed sheets plus pillow case, even the 'clean' ones I asked them to change had stains.
I can feel the warmth on the beddings, that means they are freshly washed. They are just too old to maintain pure white. So I gave up.
The lobby's toilets were a disaster as well.
Toilets seats are completely clean, in the other hand, the floor and the doors are not.
To my horror, when I tried to shut the door, the door was STICKY!!! OMG! STICKY!!! When I turn on the tap, water went everywhere, on my arms and face...
But I have to say thanks to the friendly helpful staff.
