clean and tidy. I stayed couple days on 3rd floor but actually 4th floor if you count from receptionist.No lift available for people only stairs.No mineral bottles in the room in stead they provide hotwater on the floor for drink.it is very difficult to set shower with using hotwater so i couldnot enjoy shower because hotwater is too dominant.i could not find any good clean and good restaurant around,only one but limited choice,i just use online transportation and go to Wakeke for breakfast food or you can eat at the hotel below restaurant

Low cost hotel but amazing interior design.
The rooms are bigger than other low cost hotels as far as i know.
The staffs?? Amazingly friendly😃😘👍👍👍

Wifi speed is average.
Parking lots up to 6 cars plus street parking.
The restaurant at the ground floor offers lots of traditional Manadoneese cuisine (halal)
Located at the center of Manado city.
Down side is there is no elevator, but not a big deal..

Very attentive staff. Clean place, free water. Backside rooms hear nearly no streetnoise.
Only downside is that the warm showerwater has some bacterial issues and smells like old eggs. Also there were some other guests making heavy noise in the night and there was no security guard to kick them out, the receptionist did not know what to do.
We would go again there.

It is a central located hotel. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and you get free drinks king water as much as you want. The price is unbeatable. We really recommend that place for travellers.

Nice rooms with hot shower and AC. Beds are comfortable and cleaned daily. The staff was most helpful with every question we had and need we needed. e.g. getting us a motorbike. I would recommend this place to backpackers staying in Manado.

Nice interior and illustration giving out the artsy backpacking vibe. The rooms were also clean and neat with hot shower available. Breakfast was so-so, and they seemed to have this music night that was held almost every night, some were uplifting some were just alright.

Cozy clean room. Stayed in the new Istanaku hotel in front of the older one. No cafe here, have to go to the main hotel.
Fast Internet and cable TV and hot water.
Lots of food around the area.

Its a nice place for a very reasonable price, not far from the center of Manado. The staff is very friendly and willing to help you wherever they can. It is much more than a guesthouse. At my next visit to Manado i will stay again at Istanaku, that's for sure.
