Higher temple at east java. Singhasari age and to pedharmaan (worship) of Kartanegara, last king of this kingdom who die are killed by Kadiri kingdom, the enemy. U can see much arca, hinduism and buddhism statue, and agastya statue who placed inside temple. Agastya is Siva form as Rsi and teacher.

The tample for the last King of Singosari Kingdom Kertanegara, located on the side of the road with a fence around. This place can be reached only 15 minutes from the Malang city to the north.
This place is spacious, with a neat garden and clean area.
Unfortunately a lot of debris around the temple that may not be restored again.

Singosari Temple or Candi Singosari in Indonesian language. Located at Singosari. To get in here, for you are from Surabaya headed to Malang, you should take u turn after Singosari Market and then turn right just before BCA bank. It's a small temple if compare to Borobudur temple. In front of the temple you will find several food store or we call warung. The food quite cheap. It's started from Rp 6.000,- for mie ayam. Rice menu started from Rp 9.000,-.

The Singosari temple is reachable from Malang, only 1 hour. Actually the story about this unfinished temple is interesting. But lack of information and signage including do's and don'ts. There were some people praying and some children visiting it but unfortunately they did not get the infomation about this temple. so how they will be able to appreciate the history? The compound is clean and well maintained. No entrance fee. but you are requested for the donation for the maintenance of the temple. Opening hours until 16.00.

I wouldn't recommend to take a detour to come see it as the temple is pretty small, but it's a nice one and definitely worth your time if you are passing by.

Me and my buddies ventured days and days to reach this worldwide renowned phenomenon, to be hugely disappointed to find something, to be frank, we could have found in our back garden. Saying that, the receptionists spoke good English.

It's a good place to learn history about Kerajaan Singosari. It's a good place to take some selfies too. But don't forget to bring your own tour guide since the caretaker here isn't always available and you may end up boring and not learning anything.

A nice historical place, but need more maintenance service
