" it's really sad: you can order the same sandwich 3 times in one night and every single time it WILL be different, ranging from really good to awful. So imagine my surprise when I wanted to replicate a great experience eating one of their smoked beef sandwiches on a previous visit.. then was given stale bread (and a COMPLETELY different type of bread, mind you!) plus different toppings. Umm, what? Unfortunately, lack of consistency when it comes to food is a common problem in restaurants throughout Indonesia, although even more so at this establishment.
10 May 2015I also tried their spaghetti (sauce was way too sweet, not good), waffles (kind of decent), and hot chocolate (the ONLY thing I highly recommend: incredible! They actually melt real chocolate bars to make it). Place is tiny/arrow so not recommended for big groups unless you go to the 2nd floor. Even so, can get uncomfortable if there are other visitors at the time.
all in all, just another place where you can get beer in Malang - with some decent waffles and delicious hot chocolate. In the end, just average given all the negatives...but there's so many other places to eat and have a beer that I had to give it 2 stars, given the competition. now I go to Monkey Garage on Soekarno Hatta instead "
