This is the worst port in Indonesia. You get harass by taxi drivers that want you to take their service for triple the price that is fair. Even if you leave the port they walk with you...if you are able to avoid this port do it

Ruang tunggu lumayan nyaman dengan banyak kursi. Tiketing kurang ramah. Harga kapal telah terpasang sehingga bisa dilihat. Toilet agak kotor dan berbayar. Naik kapal harus nyebur laut dulu, tidak melalui dermaga. Disini juga banyak parkiran motor sebelum masuk ke bangsal, dengan tarif parkir bervariasi.

The starting point to get three gilis. A little chat with the locals was very interesting. They were very friendly and nice.

Very cheap ride to get to the Gilis. Expect to be with a lot of locals and food on the boat 🛥 it was not that comfortable but funny for sure 😋👌

Chaotic port. Be careful when arriving in Lombok, taxi/ driver touts around the port are horrible and abusive. Such a shame most visitors are greeted like this as it is not a representation of the people of Lombok at all. Be prepare for this and if you can, book a reputable driver or pick up through your accomodation. If this is not possible then walk along the road out of the port for about 300m where you will find metered blue bird taxis. DO NOT go with the abusive drivers that will hassle you as soon as you get off the boat!

DO NOT take the speed boat,whose price is 85000 per person, it takes a few minutes less and you sit inside with 40 Celsius, whereas the standard boat takes a few more minutes but you get air as it's open and costs 15000, so less than 1 fifth of the "fast" one. Do not even waste time talking to the people trying to constantly rip you off trying to sell you special "discounted" tickets for double price, go to the right to the normal ticket office!

Everything is just confusing and it's super hard to get the correct, "official" infos. Feels like everyone there is just trying to rip you off and sell you overpriced boat tickets when you can also take a public boat for around 15.000 IDR.
Maybe try to organize a trip to the Gilis with your hotel instead of getting something here.

Transfer port to Gili Islands. Transportation is easy to find. Recommend bluebird taxi app, price is displayed. Avoid scammers in bangsal harbour ***Bangsal gangsters***. 15000 idr to Gili Islands (public boat). Use Lombok Cafe, WiFi, good food, and friendly staff.
