Prices are reasonable and happy hour cocktails good. Try the Mandira Avalanche if you like it sweet and fruity.

This is my favourite place for a meal on Gili Air. Rodii and Anise and others just make you feel special. Great cocktails too.
...and this is the best swimming spot on the island.

The houses were very cute and super clean! The bed, pool and AC were super. Also the distance to the beach and the possibility to use the beach eds for free when you stay in a cottage is great! On the last evening there was even some great live band playing! Cocktails and street of the location was awesome! Highly recommended for a great and complete enjoyment of Gili air!

Poor consistency with food - we went for lunch, I had the beef randang - it was amazing and very tender. We went again for dinner as the tables on the sand looked really nice, my partner was keen to try the randang as I had enjoyed it so much.
I feel that they ran out of good cuts of beef or possibly oversold so they didn't have time to slow cook it. It was chewy and full of gristle. The service was poor and we had to ask the same things over several times before anything happened.

Just finished a delicious meal here tonight and I had to come to write a review. I had fresh jack fish cooked on the BBQ which was served with a baked potato and fresh salad and a side of garlic butter. This meal was absolutely amazing, all very fresh, tasted just delicious and together with two gin & tonics it came to £12 / 200,000 idr. Outstanding value and the waiter was very helpful and friendly. Only have two nights on the island and I may actually eat there again tomorrow, it was that good!

Great location and just order a fresh coconut! I cannot write anything great about the food... go here for the location and the beach but order drinks only!

Good live music at night and beach sitting for dinner.
I liked eating my breakfast on the low-sitting areas and watching the ocean.
Unfortunately the service is extremely slow so much that it is painful...

Great BBQ on an evening and the value for money is arguably better than anywhere else on the island. Great atmosphere.

Great food and accommodating staff. Took a bit long to get our food during the busy hours around lunch, but we weren't in a rush so it wasn't a big deal 😊 Try the pizza, it's fantastic!

Great fresh fish (pick of the day), I had a red snapper very good and the price also very good!!
There was a live bad with lovely music. We enjoyed our night and definitely recommand this place!

Laid back place , with very friendly staff .Can be a bit slow but hey it adds to to experience.will come back , food was very good on the best beach on the island . bungalows were basic but clean and inexpensive a great place for a relaxing holiday . be aware of music night on friday can go all night .

So nice we ate there 3 times on our holiday. We ate a range of fresh seafood (which was 1/2 price compared to others nearby) on the BBQ to pizza and Rending. The service is great so friendly and quick. You must eat here if you are visiting GilI Air!

I don't know why people are complaining here... Our first diner on Gili Air was here and we had amazing tuna and mahi mahi steaks for only 70k each, including salads and fries... Both meals were delicious and didn't take that much time to be delivered. My only problem is probably their too strong cocktails :)) Had to order additional juice to dilute those...

Omg im swear bbq seafood here the best food in my life im order one and than im order again to take a way. Im swear u must come here promise u want come more again price so cheap for sea food catagory

Lame staff. Since they have a central location right on the beach, they don't need your money and very much act that way. We waited so long for our order to arrive that we finally left and went next door to Chill Out. So glad we did. We didn't get the attitude and horrible service that you get at Zipp.

Bit disappointing to be honest. Ate here a few times as it is next to the nicest swimming beach on the island. The service was dreadful every time and the food to an OK standard.

Went there for drinks, as the bar seemed well established and a big crowd was there, not concerned about being served Indonesian arrak.
First of all, the staff. Very friendly, and even as we - unaware of it - came in after happy hour we could take part of the offer, which was "two for one" between 4pm-8pm.
Second, the drinks. Best we had on the island. Entirely made from pure fruit and juices. And mixed with high skills. We watched the bartenders through the night as we took place in the bar. Efficient and fast working. Whenever they had some time over, they would come over for a chat.

Nice place. They provide a lot of gazebo. Tasty pizza and the cheese will melted in your mouth.. Coconut will make your lunch perfect. And it's cheap!

Wasn't happy from the get go, we asked for seating for two, yes of course follow me, guided to the bar, when a seat is available later on, we will let you know.. how long will that be? Wait here.
10 mins later, a table brilliant..
I don't drink, but my sister does, they broadcast it is happy hour on cocktails, sister asks for a mojito and I ask for a Virgin mojito, sorry we don't do that, I explain I want a mojito without the rum, and I will pay for it not on happy hour, no sir, we only sell alcoholic cocktails try somewhere else..
We got up and left.
Never got to try food, as upset with how the very good English speaking Indonesian cast us off..

Large cafe with covered tables and tables on the beach at dinner time. Good food, very inexpensive. Happy hour cocktails. Fast friendly service.

Food was alright. A lot of waiting though - took them about 45 minutes to make two dishes..
Nice however to sit in their small "booths" on the beach.

My girlfriend and I were so impressed by the food here we went twice on a three day trip to Gili Air.
We are both vegan and although the place serves meat we had never tasted tofu (Tahu) or tempe like it before!
The service was excellent, very friendly and conversational, as well as attentive and had a lot of knowledge of the food they were serving (especially Hy Bry and another shorter waiter with curly hair who we discussed flying to Australia with - we hope he plucks up the courage to soon!!)
Can't recommend enough, did I also mention it was very affordable too?

A place to hang at the beach. Also good Pizzas and local food is good too. Happy hour from 4-8pm buy one get one free on cocktails
