There are 2 falls here. Visit both. Bring swimwear and treking sandal. You need to get your feet wet to get the 2nd fall. Refreshing dip! We let a young teen be our guide and photographer for small sum.

One of the most beautiful waterfall I've ever been in Indonesia. The place is also relatively garbage-free compared to other touristy Indonesian waterfalls. It takes about 45 minutes to one hour walk from the main entrance that quotes 10.000 rupiah for a person to enter. This fee includes Sendang Gile waterfall, which is the first waterfall you will pass on the way to Tiu Kelep.
The path is pretty clear, all you need to do is just to follow the irrigation canal up. You will cross a bridge that you can slide through the canal. Some school kids would show you how to do it and you can even pay them a little to guide you through the irrigation tunnel on your way home from Tiu Kelep. These kids are well-prepared! They have flashlights in hand and they know all the holes in the tunnel so that you can watch your steps.
After the irrigation canal ends, the path would end on the river, and here where it can be confusing. It seems that the management do not put any direction sign on purpose so that people would hire guide to bring you to Tiu Kelep.
The best time to get here is early in the morning. We went here at 8 AM and we practically owned the place.

Superb place for chilling… waterfall was nice… if you can't climb back up to the entrance, there's a motorcycle team that can take you out back with a fees

Air terjun tiu kelep di desa senaru bayan lombon utara. Tiket masuk 5 saja. Rasakan sensasi berada di bawah deras air terjun ini. Amazing

Compare to Sendang Gile, this waterfall is offering a better scenery. To go there, you need to walk a bit further through the wood. It offer more intimate connection with the nature. Peace and quiet. The water is just crystal clear. You could see some birds chirping here and there. Once you arrived there, feel free to to take a splash. The water is cool and refreshing. Going back to the parking lot is even better. Try to go back (with a guide from the locals) by walk in the stream through the tunnel. Bringing your own water and snack is recommended. Use or anti-slip sandals is recommended. There were not so much bugs but feel free to apply anti-bug cream or lotions. Feel free to hire a local guide but make sure to ask a lot and they will tell a lot.

Great waterfall. Worth every step that I make to get up here. The water is so fresh and not crowded with people.

Harus punya stamina yang baik untuk explore menuju ke Tiu Kelep karena tracking yang panjang. Disarankan pagi kesini agar masih sepi dan bebas menikmati.

DON'T pay the tour guide ! Even though they show you a fake paper saying "you must have tour guide". Not true, you DON'T have to and you don't need one. It only assures them they can rip off another naive tourist. Good to know - first waterfall near the parking is Sendang Gile (not Tiu Kelep like Google wrongly states). Easy walk down the hill on the solid rock/concrete stairs. The second waterfall Tiu Kelep is 30mins walk during which you must cross the river 3 times - take flip flops or sandals for it.

The best waterfall I have ever seen in my life, a must to see! Is near sendang gile, in the same site, just 10 or 20 minutes by walk. You can find by yourself without a guide. Just wait a group and see where they go. If not if you go up from sendang gile you will find a kind of small concrete house, take the way into the left of this little house, and follow the way, go up and then you have to cross the river in two ways the second one is a little bite difficult and then you will reach tiu kelep.

Beautiful waterfall, especially the one that is further. You need to cross rivers to get to the second which is more beautiful.
You definitely don't need a guide, because track is very easy
Entrance fee is 10000 rupiah

Nice waterfalls! Really worth walking all the way to the second one! i would also recommend going early so that there's not a lot of people! We were the first ones to make it there 🙃 10k entry fees

Moderate walk downhill to the waterfall. Local guides will try to approach. Better to hire them if you want to go to the second waterfall. Entrance fee is 10000. Make sure to stop and drink the local coffee and enjoy the moment.

45 meters height of huge waterfall. Clean and safe place. Be careful going there in rainy season.

Must place to be visited! Great waterfall, plan wisely since this place is very stamina consuming if u want to catch the 2nd waterfall which is more beautiful.

Great attraction, guide was lovely. Walk is a little slippery so make sure to bring shoes with good grip!
Eric Goh (23/09/2017 01:03)
- Get here by car (roughly about 300k - 600k rupiah)
- There is two ways to get to the waterfall (take the easier flat road route)
- You don’t need a local guide to hike up because the path is clear and easy to navigate yourself
- Wear your swimsuits because the waterfall is great

Stay at Nearby place. Go there 1st thing in the morning. When we hit the first Waterfall, there was NO tourist. When we were at 2nd one, a couple beat us as our two children slowed us down. Yes, u can take ur children. We needed local boy's help to cross three small streams for our children. Tipped them. U don't need guide.
Even though my wife is a beach person, she admitted this was the best thing she did in Lombok.
Entrance is next to Pondok Senaru Cottages. We stayed there. Has good view to Rinjani, Waterfall, Sea

Doubting between a three and a four star, but giving this place the benefit of the doubt. Yes, the waterfalls are stunning! But this once secret place is now well on the map, being overflooded with tourists. Go as early as possible to avoid the crowds. And no, you definitely don't need a guide to get there! Like everyone says, take a first left when you go up the stairs leaving the first waterfall. Cannot miss it.

You won't find a view like these anywhere else in the world. One minor point is the accessibility of the place that can be a bit challenging and tiring. Watch out for dangerous strong currents at the base of the falls should you wish to go swimming there.
A Mulyadi (19/07/2017 08:38)
This waterfall is hiding inside the forest. Natural and very good view.
Brad Silcox (23/06/2017 05:32)
It's a little trek but the beautiful waterfalls make it worth it.

I am quite impress with the road to the waterfall very well maintained. There is stairs going up and down, river crossing and flat ground on the way going to the waterfall area and coming back you can opt for the water tunnel (tip the kids) and motorbike ride up if you are tired (just make sure you bargain, i have people paid 40k for it)
Very cold water, even the locals are standing there shivering. People around are all just friendly, ignore the begger at the entrance i think its ridiculous, by time we walk back we see the begger counting stacks of money, tip your guide instead as he is always there to take care of your stuff and helping you cross the river.
You must enjoy the waterfall by going into the water, going there in the afternoon or morning is good as there is sun and where there is sun and mist, rainbow can be seen.
Take a dip into the waterfall even though the water is cold but you got to take the plunge to enjoy the 1hour+- journey.
On the way back just let the kids guide you through the tunnel enjoy the hidden path ;-)

You'll need to hire a local guide to get in. We paid 150,000 rupiah for the guide. It's beautiful but if you're in a rush, you can skip it.

Costs 10,000 IDR for entry. You can see the first waterfall without a guide but need one for the next two due to river crossings.
