Close enough but far enough to make it a pleasant place to enjoy Senggigi and not expensive

the room itself was simple, clean, and comfortable. my reasoning for the bad review has to do with the service and staff. first off, our Wi-Fi for our building do not work the 2 days we were there. we understand that sometimes the Wi-Fi doesn't work but we asked the staff *5 times* over the 2 days to fix it and they did not even attempt to fix it! when we asked they would say okay we will fix and they just stayed in office. on our last night we needed to book flights (we had been waiting for the Wi-Fi to be fixed to book them) and asked the staff one last time to fix it and they told us to sit by the pool and use that Wi-Fi because they were too lazy to fix ours. we refused as we had paid for a room AND wifi, we did not want to sit outside for half an hour to book our flights. we followed them around for about half an hour so they would finally fix it, nothing ever got fixed. they blamed it on the weather yet all the other networks worked... the front desk man even hung up on his boss. shows how much he cares about his job.
secondly, we ate breakfast at the restaurant one morning and once again received terrible service. the man in the kitchen saw us and would not give is menus until we almost went into the kitchen to get him!! we waited over an hour for our food, our straws were dirty, and there was black specks in my drink. we went to pay for our bill and he had no change at all, what kind of hotel doesn't have change?
last but not least, we rented scooters from the hotel (I believe they were through a friend of the front desk man not the hotel itself) and our friends scooter had some kind of gas leak and paid more than the amount of the scooter in gas (bike was 75000, paid 85000 in gas) they claimed there was no other bike to give us. I truly believe they just didn't care. on the plus side the did pay us 80000 for the gas from our first day renting but this was after a lot of convincing. rented for 2 days so 150000 in gas in total.
all in all, a very clean room with comfy bed and nice shower (we stayed in the wood lodge building) but service and staff are absolutely terrible don't expect much.

Nice hotel but aside from what Google Maps says, it is actually about a 25 minute drive from Bangsal Harbor and about 25-35 minutes away from Senggigi. Nice place close to beach!
