Nice bar! I put only 4 stars because of the hotel! We booked for 2 nights but nobody told us that there was some reconstructions work. So it was very noisy

This place will be a five star once construction is finished in the early am and music across the street finishes before 2am, the place is beautiful and the pea ole who run this place are great and nice to talk to, once the flooring is done on the new building hopefully it’s a bit less hammering

We had the burger and the tuna sashimi - they were both fantastic! It’s a great place for lunch or just having some coffee / cocktails at the beach.
At sunset it gets really crowded so make sure you come a bit early to get a good spot.
Service is prompt and prices are absolutely OK!

Pricy but great food and view. Enjoy the sunset from the bar. Try the fish chili its delicious

We was only in a bar but it's very nice there, great food and not expensive. Wonderful view. There are lots of people in the evening so you have to decide what to eat quite fast, otherwise you wait long :)

Delicious food and good prices. We loved the smoothie bowl! Fantastic view and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

We loved this place, we didn't stay here but enjoyed the beach and cafe for 2 days in a row. Amazing food, great coffee and when there is a sunset it is a great place to see it! Swimming of the beach there can be currents so just be aware when you swim/snorkel - it is the same all around Gili Air

Excellent food, excellent sunset views, excellent service. Probably favorite place to eat on Gili Air. Jack fruit tacos and red fish curry are both excellent

Great food! Super tasty sandwiches. Nice view of sunset. You need shoes to go into water here because of broken Coral in the sand

Great spot to watch the sunset. Unfortunately this spot is no secret so have to be there really early to get a table. Drinks and especially the food is really good! Staff is really inattentive but mostly kind.

Don't believe the hype. Relying on location for sunset rather than service we arrived in the evening to disinterested staff and watery cocktails. And felt like we were imposing and rushed to leave (way before closing time) Best on this strip, and good food tho.

The food and setting are outstanding. We arrived just in time to view the sunset. Had the pizza and two different burgers. Wow. Perfect flavor combo. Music was a little doof doof but other than that cannot fault it.

AMAZING!! I loved the entire layout of mowies, the bar area & the villas are perfect...we stayed in the regular cabins and 2 nights in the 'boss villa' which was great. The rates are flexible for price. The service is excellent and the sunset in the bean bag chairs made every afternoon relaxing.. plus the food is 10/10. I loved this experience!! Definitely going back.

From talking to other travelers I heard this had great food, but after trying it I must say it's absolutely delicious! Definitely a more western place and fancier style than you're used to in Indonesia, but really well done. After one dinner I decided I had to come again before leaving the next day and went for an 11am lunch before my early boat to make sure I came again.
Jackfruit tacos and pumpkin gnocchi are divine!!

Decent place for sunset. Good chill music. Well tasting food that's slightly different from the rest of what we had on the island - higher quality and great tasting. Had pizza slices and tuna sashimi.

Great tuna burger with cool charcoal bun. Would have liked more chips. Nice setting with cost bean bags to sit on. Average pizza.

The menu offers a trendy selection of healthy food. Very much like any other place in shoreditch. I ordered a chickpea salad and it was very salty. Also very pricey compared to other places in the same area. However they have the best spot for a swim in the sea as there are no seaweeds or rocks.

Good drinks and food, beautiful setup, but one can get the same loungey setup on many other places along the beach that do happy hour cocktail offers and offer larger portions

Amazing place with a large variety of food. Tuna burger was great! Despite the other reviews my experience was that they have a fast service.

Visited Mowies based on a recommendation and glad we did. We went right before sunset, hoping to catch it. It was cloudy and didn't get an epic sunset but it was still very beautiful place to have afternoon/evening drinks and dinner. Make sure to get there early for the front tables with chair beanbags. For dinner we ordered the flatbread and famous tuna burger. Both were really good. Definitely recommend going to this cute beach spot.

Quick, friendly and attentive staff! The food is really delicious and nicely presented. We came here 2 days in a row because we appreciated the staff and food! Definately worth a visit!

Don't get me started about the view that is simply stunning! I spent hours there, lounging away and trying quite some items from the menu. Their vegetarian options are very decent and the black beetroot pate sandwich was overall pretty great (I could have used a bit more filling though). They also offer some nice smoothies and a couple of raw cakes that I always love to try. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Best place to chill on the beach and get a good tan. Amazing food compared to all the other beachfront places on the island serving a horrendous selection of western food. Highly recommended.

Great place for relax) thanks staff & especially Reef for amazing week. Their bungalows contains everything all you may need. Very tasty dishes at restaurant, and of course- awesome sunset. Totally recommended).

Nice atmosphere in a candle light lounge, overlooking the sea. Friendly staff, healthy food and great drinks. I fully recommend!

The food is so amazing and cheaper than places like Scallywags or Chillout. Service isn't always prompt but it's easy to raise your hand or go to the bar and place your order. The food is a lot like trendy hipster cafés but at great prices. Lots of vegie options too. The tuna burger and butterfish dish are AMAZING. we have come back over and over and many times staying all day for breakfast, lunch and dinner.. and almond milk available for coffee which is great as I can't have milk! we love you and will miss you mowie's!!!!

Good place, nice view! Go here for the pizettes or the tuna burger. They close at 8pm so be sure to order your food between 5 and 6pm

The 5 fries they serve it as a side were also really good!
