" Stayed for 4 nights and had an overall good experience. The room, which was one of their suit delux, was in good condition. But two things to note, we had multiple short power outages during our stay and the bathroom was outside with lots of mosquitos and only warm water.

We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and the food was good, and again the staff was friendly. But the cleanliness was more so so as there was not enough ice to keep things cold and the flies where all over the place. "

" A very good place to stay in, got trouble with the AC but then the technician didn't make any changes and finally the manager on duty gave us another room with better aircon. The outdoor bathroom was great as well. The price for dinner was affordable compared to other places around. Good service, good place ❤️❤️ "

" The resort is ok. The room is fine. The door that lead to the outdoor bathroom was right beside the bed and it was heavy and made a ton of noise so it always woke whoever was sleeping if you had to get up in the middle of the night. The ceiling dripped when it rained so water was all over my bedside table. My sister was in the room next door and her room dripped water all over the couch.
03 May 2018The staff at the restaurant was very friendly but the service was crazy slow. Even when not busy. I know that's the norm there on the Island but I just found it hard to understand how a vodka sodo takes 15 mins to make when there's no one else in the restaurant. The beach off the restaurant was gorgeous. Crystal clear water but also very shallow. The sand is rough. Lots of broken coral so make sure you have some water shoes or it'll be sore on your feet when going into the water.
The pool wasn't very inviting.
Honestly, we paid $100 for the night but when we got to the Island we found many resorts that looks the same that were going for $40 to $50. That seems more appropriate. We told the front staff that we would stay if they charged us the lower rate and they declined so we moved to the Lombak hotel. Rooms were much nicer there and the pool is amazing AND, we paid less ! "

" Nice place, nice beach, poor swiming pool and not well arranged. It seems works are on going. be carefull during week end, party could be organized by the bar beside the hotel. So it could be very noisy till 4am. Service is top. A bit desapointed. "

" Do yourself a favor and don't stay at this place. Hotel dose not really look like on the pictures that whole area is a wasteland. The room were dirty and had no charme, we saw 3 different ones so we weren't just unlucky. This hotel has a hostel standard for a full hotel price. "

02 January 2018They have sandy beach with plenty of fauna to explore. We found some starfish and echinus.. also small crustacean, hermit crab, and many kind of molusca.
My kids love to explore during low tide. My hubby love the sunset..
And they said will be back here for next holiday. 😁😁😁 "

" We really enjoyed our time at Mola 2 resort. We were unable to check in to our room right away, but they were able to hold our bags and they offered a free cooking class while we waited for our room!! It was great. Chef Andy taught the class - it was informative and the food he made was really good. The lunches at the restaurant are some of the best on Gili Air in both quality and price. We were able to swiftly move to a quiet room thanks to the incredibly sweet staff at Nirmala. Thanks!!! "

" The resort is at the perfect beach location to watch the sunset! The staff are very friendly and the resort, being only a year old, is in great condition compared to most of the other accommodation nearby.
07 September 2017The Lumbung style villas offer a real island experience, but just be aware that the steep thatched rooves (effectively your wall on the 2nd level where you sleep) aren't very effective for blocking out sound (you'll hear your neighbours' conversions and the parties down the road at night), but you get used to it after the first day or so as you can enjoy taking in the sounds of the island. A few bugs can also sneak in through the tiny gaps in the construction, but your bed is covered with a mosquito net and there's also a mosquito trap in your room which seems to be really effective.
The food is decent, but you're best to explore the food options around (Mowies, about 50m to your left after leaving the resort do the best coffee on Gili Air). Drinks are also more pricey than the surrounding bars, with cocktails being around 90,000IDR compared to around 60,000IDR at the bars next door.
Best time to come is August around the Indonesian Independence Day - it's also the resort's birthday so they have some cool events on such as a traditional banquet dinner and releasing baby turtles at sunrise. "

" The room itself was nice. The bathroom is on your back patio, but people can't see in. The pool was under repair while we were there. The beach location is in front of a barrier reef area where when the tide is out you can walk out for a long way in very shallow water. We saw star fish, hermit crabs and very small white/silver fish, but that was it. Super clear waters. Gili Air island is a small island, so there are no cars. You can walk around the entire island in 90 minutes. The biggest drawback is the boat ride to get there was long, hot, and smelled strongly of gas. We also took the taxi that required 3 boat changes with no docks, so wear flip flops and swim suits for the boats. "

" At around $75 it is a great deal. Probably one of the few upscale experiences you'll get at Gili Air. AC works well, hot water works well, nice towels. Breakfast was just okay. Had the eggs Benedict that was so well done you can throw the egg yolk like a bouncy rubber ball. Had the tuna the next day that consisted of overcooked strips of tuna so thin it could have started out life as sushi slices.
