mountain with the most beautiful view in Indonesia. Try the track from Sembalun - Mountain Peak - Segara Anakan - Senaru. Sembalun is like a Savanna with high grass. Green during wet season and Yellow during Dry season. Always prepare a sun screen. To reach the peak from Plawangan, it is around 5-6 hours. Better to start at midnight, so you can enjoy the beautiful sun rise. Be careful, the wind is quite strong.
From Plawangan to Segara anak is around 3-4 hours. The road quite slippery. In segara anak you can enjoy fishing or taking a bath in a hot spring.
While Senaru is like a forest with a lot of trees. Make sure that you arrive to the base camp before dark

My advice to anyone embarking on this mental and physical challenge. 1) regardless of your camp, bring your own food rations 2) despite how drained you are push for the summit prior to sunrise its worth the effort 3) if you are debating the 1.5 or 2.5 day trek my honest opinion is save yourself some cash and just do the 1.5 day.

What an amazing view and memorable experience being in this place. A very highly recommended place to visit! Please make sure to prepare the hiking equipment and logistic. Don't leave your garbage. Better to hire local guide and porter.

SO beautiful ! Avoid Lombok rinjani tracking center.,RTC... Guide are not professional and don't care about people in difficulties during the trekking...
