This is only 1 year old. Very beautiful
A lot of different animals. Good food and drinks. Very friendly you have to see that with your own eyes. I like to come back next time.

Fantastic experience especially with Valiant the orangutan. The park is lovely & clean with a great restaurant & facilties. The toilets would be the cleanest I've ever seen in all of Indonesia. It cost is $20 nzd to get there from Senggigi and $20 each to enter well worth the money. No extra hidden costs to have photos with the animals. It is extra to do elephant trek but chose not to do this.

a very recommended place to visit for family time, kids can learn many stories of the animals and do not worry for meals as they have restaurant and for sure Gellato (one of my favorite) Definitely will come back

Normally I don't like zoos or any other animal parks, but this one is different. Clean, nicely organised and animals seem to be living a bit happier life than most of the placed of this kind. Orangutang feeding experience overwhelmed - there is so much human features in these creatures.

Awesome experience. We did the full elephant experience, I personally am not a fan of riding elephants, but the other exhibits in this park is great, “valent” the orangutan was a highlight, just hanging out with him was worth the 200k entrance fee. Lunch was decent, they could improve there deserts. Staff is very friendly too.

I agree with the previously reviewer and am also cynical about zoos in general. It was the only place in the main Lombok area to see elephants. The park is small, but seems to be well kept. A lot of animal varieties which was nice. I felt bad for some of the animals like the bears, the orangutans and the crocodile in the small enclosure.

I definitely felt guilty riding the elephants, but we were there celebrating a birthday and it was our first time up and close with elephants. I had no idea that in order to get them to move, the handlers would poke them with a stick that had a hook at the end (move backwards). They would also kick them behind the ears to move forward. At the end of the ride, they had blood on their trunks and a noticeable 'gash' on their foreheads. Maybe it was just my own naivety. I can't speak to how these elephants are treated when tourists aren't around, but just from what I've experienced, I would wait to visit a bigger sanctuary where elephants roam free and aren't fully exploited.

At first we were a bit worried to visit a zoo with elephant rides given the general abuse associated to that kind of activities.

We didn't take a ride because we dont want to stimulate those kind of ride practices, but we did want to see the animals and when arriving in the zoo, we found well fed, kind, well treated animals in nicely equipped areas (except for the crocodile and the hippos) with friendly staff. The zoo is very well structured and a great pleasure to walk through. Plenty of animals like eagles, owls, cockatoos, parrots, snakes, lizards, bears, different sorts of monkeys, crocodiles, hippos, off course elephants and more.

To summarize: a nice experience in a professional zoo with kind staff. Value for money.

This place is wonderful (& I am cynical about zoos in general). Beautifully landscaped, lots of shade, very attentive and informed staff, many hands-on opportunities. Although the animals are definitely "tame", knowing they are rescue animals that have been rehabilitated or reared in the place make this less off-putting.
Our kids absolutely loved this place and it is well worth supporting, we really enjoyed doing something besides beach during our Lombok trio.

Great experience, not busy at all. Hands on interactions with a variety of birdlife. Direct access to elephants and orangutan. Nice facilities, though a tad small. Still a very new park with great potential

Stunning place, perfect location! Better going there than Bali for the price and the experience! They also have a mini zoo with local animals!

It's a beautiful elephant park. You can take pictures while feeding the elephants. The entry is only Rp. 200.000 for foreigners and only Rp. 100.000 more if you want a great lunch included (recommended). There are a lot of stunning birds you can take pictures with. This is also an option with the pythons and even an orang-utang. There are also monkeys, bears, hippos... A complete experience! (Note: elephant rides are offered for a price, however these animals can not support this much wait on their back, so it's better to never ride an elephant)

This place is hands down stunning. It's what I imagine a real Jurassic Park would be like ("spare no expense") only instead of T-Rexes, they have elephants and every other awesome tropical animal and bird to see up close!

We have been to Lombok Elephant Park three days ago and were surpriesed that there were so few visitors. We had a great day in the park with many interesting animals that were obviously treated very well. The entrance fee of 13 Euros is absolutely worth it. We even had our own guide that showed us around the whole park. We could touch and feed the elephants, take pictures with birds and a monkey (we could even hug him and he didn´t wear any caves) and feed deers. We recommend everyone to visit this park during a vacation in Lombok and hope that the park and its animals will stay well.

It's good to know an alternative tourism place in Lombok beside beaches. It's easy to reach. Only 15 minutes from Bangsal Harbour. Despite the bad feelings for the elephants because they allowed people to ride it.
It could be improved with an addition collection of animals.
