25 January 2018Two points of attention:
Breakfast is your usual pancakes, omelet, juice etc, only bit more greasy than necessary if you opt for anything else than the pancake.
Place is family owned, which means the 3 home schooled children are always found on the property. A Swedish family had just moved in to stay indefinitely, adding more children to the party.
This isn't really a deal-breaker, but it does define the atmosphere of the place. The staff are some very cool Indonesian guys and girls, there is a poster of Bob Marley on the wall and his music is often playing, but it still feels as if you accidentally crashed a Norwegian birthday party "

" This is a really nice place to stay for a great price. It's further from the main strip right off the harbour port, but close to the beach. Seems to be family friendly as we see a lot of kids here, but very clean and quiet. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. "

" Great bungalows and ideal for families with kids. The pool tiles are a strange orangery kind of colour which makes the pool really hot along with the sunshine. The stand out part is the bungalow's themselves. Big, bright and clean. "

23 August 2016We are so happy that we spent our holiday on Gili Air at GoodTimes. The place is beautiful, especially in the morning when the light is flowing in over the reception, the bungalows and the pool. And also at night as the lamps will light up this Oasis.
It is situated in the middle of the island, but as the island is very small it is not more than 500 meters to the beach.
The breakfast is perfect, your choice of pancakes or different omeletts. And a plate of fruite, juice and coffee or tea.
The norwegian couple running the place and their kids are so sweet and helpful. The staff is too, and they are making sure that the minibar is constantly refilled with beer and drinks which is nice when you come from the beach.
It is a social place, and it seems like there is always someone around for a chat and a coffee or a beer.
The rooms has a minimalist design of concrete and details that makes me think of Berlin for some reason. The concrete also gives a cooling feeling in the heat.
The price is very reasonable in terms of all you get at GoodTimes bungalows. "
