" I don't see how people would called this paradise. These are the dirtiest beaches I've seen. They are just full of death coral and rubbish all around. You can swim just in 50 meters of beach. Nothing else of interest to see in the island apart from the beach, so save your coins and go somewhere else! "

" A beautiful island with white sand beaches. For natural beauty, snorkelling, and swimming in the ocean on the SE side I give it a 5. Also the people and choices of food/restaurants is awesome. The one big problem though in paradise, as I sit here at midnight writing this, is the noise/loud music coming from Gili Trawangan night clubs. We are even staying on the SE corner because we had heard of the problem. It is crazy ridiculous! Have not slept well in 3 nights. It really breaks my heart that nothing can be done about this...we have talked to the owners of the hotel and this Island has tried to get them to turn the music down to no avail. If you are coming here bring good ear plugs. For at 5 am the Mosque starts their call to prayer! "

" Simple Harbour without any deck. Sometimes we need to use small boat to deliver us to the big boat, depends on the tide. But it's included already with your ticket. Be aware of tricky agent. I got them last time and I think they ruin the tourism and my mood. I heard the last boat to gili meno is at 3pm. But you can always rent a private boat from every harbour cost you about USD 100,- I did that because I arrived at Bangsal at 11:30PM and that's the only way to reach Gili Island at night. Overall Gilin Meno is a nice place to relax and honeymoon getaway and the northern part of the island you can snorkle and watch the turtle They are massive! "

" The least touristic island of the Gilis has wonderful white beaches, similar to the other islands. The beaches however have a lot of trash and still have plenty of tourists on them. Snorkeling around the island was disappointing to us after much appraisal. We had much better experiences around Amed, Bali and around Sumbawa. The island has a mix of fancy bungalows and run down resorts, to the point of collapse. Maybe it was just our luck, but were disappointed in the large amount of other tourists, and general condition of the island. "
