Beautiful hidden paradise on the small island. Has a lot of cheap accommodations by great facilities. Easy to go around the island. Having a horse car; diving; snorkeling; having sunset trip; fishing trip etc. There are a lots of restaurants for lunch/dinner and breakfast as well.
To come the island just need a taxi from Lombok Airport to Bangsal Harbor (the main harbor to Gili). Then, there are Slow Boat/Speed Boat/Fastboat that you could find there to the island. All of the transportations you may get in public or book for your own.

Beautiful island of water. The beach is stunning! The sunrise and sunset magical. Lotbof tourist think it is part of Bali, but it is not. It is part of Lombok.

Really recommended place for a holiday. It was not crowded as Gili Trawangan, and not too quiet as Gili Meno.

we book a villa in advanced....turn out they are still renovating, so the room was dusty. we have to pay 200k for 2horse ride for 5people+bagage.....and instantly regretted it. should just find a villa near the dock instead. the island is very quiet and secluded. we dont really enjoy our time here

The most beautiful island in Indonesia. Relax, calm, great views, good restaurants, amazing beaches and sea. Great place to dive or snorkel.

Good snorkeling. A lot of destroyed coral, but local dive schools make an effort to replant. Very relax, quite green. Bike only :) Has some great restaurants from small cheap warung to more international. You can hear the mosque from 4.45 am probably from every accommodation, but it’s not so loud as Trawangan. My favorite Gili.

A gem! Of the 3 Gilis, Air was the most balanced between activities/restaurant/fun options. Still able to find strips of empty beach with shallow clear waters where you can snorkle amidst a great variety of colourful fish in all sizes, shapes and paterns. A romantic spot for lazy days drinking tasty fresh juices right by the sea. For those more eager for night time fun, look for areas on the island where bars stay open until later (not everywhere). Beautiful beach cafés where you can relax all day, and dont miss the sunset on the west side of Air.
The only remarks we would like to point out are the plastic trash left on the beaches... not a pretty sight for us but especially harmful for all the amazing and rather fragile water fauna and flora. And also, because there's no warning/notification for the tourists, the corals are dying all over the Gilis due to being trampled on by people on the hundreds of snorkeling tours around the islands every day. So, take care where you step!

Landing here gave me a feel of how the explorers of yesteryears might have dicsovered the remote yet densely populated islands bursting with local culture. This island has it's own character. So small that it can be covered in an hour on a bicycle. Great outlets and dive shops. Do visit the few jewellery and trinket shops.

Lovely island and partially good beaches. Too many sharp dead corals to really go out in the sea. Good option for divers and snorkeking

The best of the Gili's. On this island you can both relax or enjoy a little party and drinks at some bars. Great sunset and great snorkelling tours around the gili's!

Way more calm relaxing and cozy island than Gili Trawangan. Here you can find cheap accommodation nice sunset and even nightlife if needed

Best place to stay for relaxation and good restaurants. Much better than Gili-T for couples and peace seekers.

In Gili Air I found peace and silence. No cars, not too many loud bars in the night, less touristic than Gili Tragawan, local people are very friendly and the atmosphere is still magical, highly recommended if you just want to relax completely and immerse in nature and the local culture.
