Great homestay with amazing hostess aya!
She was really sweet and helpful. There is free breakfast and a shop and the homestay is practicly next to kuta centre.

Fair price for what you get. The staff are really nice and helpful, the shared space is pretty chilled

We came to stay 2 days and stayed 5 weeks.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you need something they will organize it for you. The room is clean and the bath as well and you have some basic furniture. In front of the small house is a terrace where you can enjoy the sun.
Breakfast is good (Pancakes, scrambled/fried egg or Omelette) and you can take some tea or coffee during the whole day.
If you need some small things they have a supermarket directly in front.
Scooter can be rented directly with them which is very uncomplicated. With it you can reach all the important Surf spots in around 30 minutes.
If you need to wash your clothes they also offer that.
Thanks for the nice time! See you next time!

We stayed there for one night in a bamboo bungalow. It was okish. The AC was working good, bed was clean. But the noice from the road was quite loud and the bathroom was quite smelling and not on a good shape anymore (it also had no openable window)! Also it is a 10 minute walk to the center. Breakfast was OK - you got tea/coffee as much you wanted (serve yourself) and the pancake was good, unfortunately the Omelett was not. Therefore we didn't prolonged our stay.

Good rooms, good check-in. Breakfast is good but only 5 choices. Location is good, only 5 minutes walking to the closest beach.

Everything was nice except we had some kind of bedbugs in our bed so that sucked

unfortunately not a good stay. huge insekt problems, not really friendly staff, breakfast consist only of eggs. I would not come back here
Fiona Hauselt (25/03/2017 09:03)
Not really good experience. We had an insect problem and wanted to change the room cause they were everywhere (even on the bed) and there was no understanding from the hosts. We had to stay in the room or move to a more expensive one. The more expensive one we moved to seemed like the place where their kids usually go to the toilet... The breakfast is not really suitable for people who doesn't eat eggs. We think there are better options in kuta, sorry.

Nice place to stay for couple of days. Close to the beach (around 10 minutes walking), in a pretty quite neighbourhood 5 minutes walking from shops and restaurants area.

Very friendly staff. Quite comfy bed. Clean bathroom. Store on site for essentials. Descent breakfast. On the edge of town, but not out of it. A short walk to one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. A fair bit of mozzies in our room at night.

We stayed at Tri Putri Homestay for three nights and then changed to Kuta Garden Homestay. Here's why:
Tri Putri has it's ups and downs. While the room itself (we had one of the two wooden bungalows) was basic but clean and the bed, AC, shower and toilet were ok, the area is dirty, full of rubbish and leftovers from building-projects (see pic below) and the staff ranged from nice to passive aggressive/sarcastic. Mostly, you just don't feel welcome there and more as if you are a disturbing object. We had a tremendous amount (3-5 per day) of power outages (sometimes the whole place, mostly only our bungalow).
Breakfast is good (free tee/coffee, omelette/scrambled eggs or banana pancake - you can take as many as you want). The eating-area is quite basic, though, and a lot of the cutlery and cups didn't seem to be cleaned.
You can rent motorcycles/scooters at Tri Putri (50.000 IDR/day). We didn't, as there were non left when we arrived.
There's a small super market directly at the entrance, where you can get snacks, beverages, etc. Beware of the bread they sell, as most of it was moldy (+ moldy bread stayed at display for three days, see pic below).
All in all, it just wasn't worth the money. We paid 275k/night and expected at least nice staff and somebody who cares for the place and stuff (nobody really does). We found much better for less (150k) at Kuta Garden Homestay.
