We only had dinner here and it was not a good experience. Sweet and sour prawn was more like ketchup prawn along with the fu yung hai, vege soup is too plain. The curry was delicious but the fish was not really fresh. Rice was over cooked. We were very upset about the food portion. After a long day, we want to give us a treat so we ordered four dish, but It was too small looks like a kid set meal.
Environment looks nice but it was right next to few mosque. People praying in the evening for hours and the speaker are so loud that we can't have a quiet peaceful dinner.

Despite the owner being very friendly and helpful i would not recommend due to extremely unhygenic rooms. We found dead bugs, cigarette buts and others lying around. The wifi does not really work and the food is really not great. Cutlery and plates are in the same state than the rooms

Nice basic bungaluw. Little dirty, staff is very yung and slow in service. Swimmingpool is dirty. The place is nice, but with a bad oragnization

Bungalows are attractive but basic and poorly maintained. Shower tap, wall socket, fan all broken in my room and staff not interested in fixing. Pool a little dirty. Gardens nice. Restaurant looks good, meals ok (made to western palate despite requesting spicy) but is understaffed when busy. Hotel and restaurant staff just do the minimum and seem disengaged.

Hotel with nice pool. The cottages are Lombokstyle. Thin walls so you here every morning at 5 o'clock the mosque, bath outside. They sell the rooms with included dinner and breakfast. That is nice because it is a little bit outside of the village. But the size of the meals are really too small!

I think with a bit of tweaking this place could be amazing. The infinity style pool is an awesome, brand new edition to the Gazebo and really makes the whole area look serenic and complete. The water is nice clean and comes up to about neck-height at its deepest point so it good for swimming, but not diving/jumping in. The bungalows, and the grounds they're situated in, look beautiful and are very well-kept. The food at the restaurant is served in slightly smaller portions than I would of liked but I have a large appetite so am possibly not the best judge. Paradoxically, the food quality and presentation more than made up for it. All of the staff were out of this world with how friendly they were. It was our first time visiting Lombok, and if even half of it's residents were as friendly as Harry, Ika, Astika and Imran then it would be a better place. These four really made our stay great, especially Harry!

The problems that we encountered was things like the room being uncomfortably hot at night time, which can really effect your sleep. If the bungalows, which are otherwise great, could have AC installed it would make the stay a lot more enjoyable. The shower was running cold too, which in the evening or the afternoon was fine as it is very hot, but in the mornings it was too cold to have a cold shower.

The biggest problem we encountered was some Slovak guests that stayed up partying every night and being, well, as stereotypically eastern European as you can get. Loud shouting, pumping euros trash music until 1am and lots of whooping and drinking. *insert any eastern european club video here*. You get the image... I understand this was just a timing issue, however, I would have liked it if the security guard could have got them to turn the music down after 11pm.

Needs AC! Very uncomfortable in the rooms with only a fan. No soundproofing at ALL! Maybe was unlucky but visited at the same as some very noisy guests who stayed up till late each night and staff allowed them to blast out eurotrash dance music in the bar till 1am.
The staff as a whole are all lovely, very welcoming! Harry ( the assistant manager and overall dude) especially. The highlight of our stay was a day trip to northern lombok to see the beautiful unspoilt beaches and countryside and see some of their culture.
We spent 12 hours on the road with him, and have made a good friend.
The food is decent, great that it is offered as part of the booking price ( breakfast and dinner) but not big portions, we found ourselves buying an additional plate of food.
The chef Astika is LOVELY! She does a very good job with presentation.
One thing to note is this is a very social resort, the staff will happily sit with you in the bar and ask you about your life and you can exchange stories and talk about cultural differences.
The resort overall was finished to a high standard in a traditional Lombok design.
Only thing that let it down really was the rooms, location is in the middle of farmland ( get transport or hire a scooter, but be careful as very windy roads, many tourists and locals have had pretty serious accidents round here)
The pool is the latest addition, it had been running just a week and was lovely and cool! A bit misty but we were reassured it was cleaned daily.

Good to know...
Most of Lombok (97% to be exact) is Muslim, this means an incredible mosque on every corner, each one bigger and more grand than the other, even in the poorest of neighborhoods there will be a shining dome jutting out above the trees.
Downside to this? Unless you rise before the MANY cockerell start their morning singsong you will be awoken by the (not always in tune) morning prayers before sunrise. We are talking 5-5.30am. This goes on for over an hour each morning and there is not only a mosque nearby but speakers placed down the road so nobody misses the morning prayers.
