Room was clean but sadly everything else was left to be desired. The shower trickled water and it was extremely hot or cold. Staff lacked sincerity and hospitality in comparison to the rest of our travels. And our transfer arranged through them didn't even know the route to Bangsal which was very distressing for us.

I would not recomend to any friend, or girl. Noticed not one but two times that the staff "secretly" took pictures of me. Luckily I was travelling with my boyfriend and we started locking the door before we got to bed.
Also we had to change room the first night because it was a rat in our room. In the first room the wifi didnt work at all. The second room was bigger and better, closer to wifi, and no rat. But we could barely go to the bathroom since it was so shabby and disgusting. And we're used to that after 2 months in Asia... but this was just too disgusting.
The best part was breakfast. I loved the pancakes!!!!!
We stayed for almost a week and they only cleaned the room the very last night.
The mosque woke us up 2 times per morning.
There was no good fan in the room.

They have the most lovely staff that truely go above and beyond
However. The quality of the stay was shockingly awful! When we arrived they mixed up our booking and gave us different rooms to which we specified
The shower stunk up like awful rotten eggs the second the shower turned on, I almost vomited while I was showering and the smell seeped into the room and it was impossible to sleep
The sheets were mouldy and the pillows too, it was clear that they had not been washed since the previous guests. There was hair on the pillow and patches of dirt and god knows what on the sheets

Nice place to stay for night for in Kuta. Ben is awesome person. He will help you with everything. :)

Serah's homestay feels like home, with a caring family who Are always ready with Tea, coffee, breakfast, listening ears to hear about your day or just small talking. We have really enjoyed out long stay here, and Will definitely come back - if not for staying, then for meeting our new friends again.

Super hosts Serah, Steve and Ben. We enjoyed it here. Our room had kitchen which was handy for tea making. Room lovely and goof bathroom. They are building on new part but it's not noisy in morning, only noise is from mosque but don't let that put you off. Breakfast is excellent and filling with good choice. They give not one but two pancakes. Also have Flores coffee. We booked an extra night. 10 min walk to beach and town

The hosts Serah and Steve were both absolutely lovely but we founds the rooms slightly lacking.. The walls were not so sound proof, there was only 1 socket in the rooms that worked and the fan was very noisy

The best homestay in Kuta.
Serah and Steve are so friendly, good rooms, good breakfast with fresh organic food from their wonderful garden

Super nice and cozy homestay. Beautiful garden, nice and very private rooms. Best and biggest incl. Breakfast in town. Fruits and Toast and toppings and Omelett and Drinks. Very nice and helpful stuff. Thanks!
