I stayed at Pipes Hostel for 3 nights, and there was all around good vibes and good people. The staff was really nice, caring and helpful and made the place feel like home. Tris helped med out with advice about the area and how to get to my next destination. It is super clean, the kitchen is well equipped, and there is loads of movies to watch and people to meet. Even though i dont surf or skate, i had a great time. Thanks pipes!

This was for me a calming and good experience. Not only there was a clear helpfull staff but there was also alot of supplies to make yourself coffee tea and many other things.
The dorms were clean and good taken care of. Toilets and showers couldn't be better and we even have a skate pool workout place swimming pool and a nice lobby to hang out and to watch movies.
So really the best!

The best hostel I've been in indonesia. Triss and all the staff have so much attention for every little detail. Gonna miss them all. Best service possible, amazing environment!

I had an amazing time at the Pipes Hostel.
The atmosphere was the best I've ever experienced in an hostel and even though I usually don't like staying at hostels that much I'd come back to Pipes in an instant!
The things I liked the most were the amazing kitchen/livingroom, where everybody's hanging out all the time, talking, watching a movie, playing games etc, and the beautiful house in general and the amazing staff.
Especially Tris made staying at the Pipes Hostel an unforgettable experience since she's just such a friendly person that treats everybody kindly and organizes cool camping trips/BBQs for the whole hostel just because she likes to do it.
5 Stars for sure!

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed! Really chill vibe, very sociable place. Such a great time there I kept on extending my stay! The staff are amazing and bent over backwards to help out. Will the owner and his family are legends I will be back for sure!!

5 stars straight through! the staff are absolutely wonderful and help you from the little ones to your biggest problem on the trip .. a cool surf and skate atmosphere with everything from beginners to advanced surfers who would like to have a company on the waves of a nice mate. you can rent scooters at the hostlet and are really cheap and have good breakfast right outside the door and a new pool

Pipes was pretty nice, however 80% of guests were German, what I personally didnt like too much, as I dont wanna speak German the whole time on holidays :P
Then the price was pretty high for a dorm without AC, which also has about ten more people sleeping in it than advertised. I think it said its a 12 bed dorm, and in the week I stayed there, there were at least 20-25 people in there. By the way, a bed is just a mattress on the floor. That's also a reason why I think its overpriced.
The guests in general were all surfers, only interested in other surfers or the girls obviously, so no one really wanted to talk to me, the non surfer, and a guy.. Not what I expected either as usually I have a great time in hostels.
The staff was very friendly, the half pipe is fun, the kitchen is great, the breakfast lady amazing and the outside areas were really nice too.
One thing to address would be the motorbike rental guys, who honk the horns of their bikes at 6-7 in the morning for no good reason, waking everyone up.
Also there is loads of construction going on around, so its always loud early in the morning and during the day at the moment.

Great place near Kuta. Comfortable and relaxing main room with a quiet setting to post up after and before heading to the beach.

Great Hostel! Very good location and friendly and helpfull staff. The people you meet there are mostly awesome as well. Mainly surfer, thats why the hostel itself isn't a party hostel and therefore good for relaxing, having fun and go for a surf.
There are 2x 8 Bed dorms and one 14 bed dorm. So the total number of peope there is not too big, which makes it quite familiar. Easy to reach the most bars/restaurants/cafes by scooter within approx. 5 mins and to go to different beaches along the island.
Would definitely go there again!

Hotel yang sangat nyaman meskipun tempatnya ramai tapi nyaman,tata ruang,tama,barnya sangat bagus sekali.pokonya good and top banget tinggal disini.

Great backpacker, great ambiance. If you do skateboarding is THE place to stay! Pipe bowl stakepark in a pool.
Really funny place.
