The beach is amazing.. be careful how you deal with the surfing offering course.. once you talk to them they stuck

Really great beach for begginer surfer learning. The wave are quite enough. We choose a EVA Surfing School. The mentor are cool, they teaach 1 person for 1 trainers for the 200k-250k/person.
The view in this beach are great in sunset. Clean beach. The parking nearby beach.
The toilet is clean. They have a pray room.

One of my favourite beach in Lombok. It has the best wave for anyone learninh to surf. There are people who will teach you surfing. They charge 200.000 rupiah for 2 hour session. Typically people will be able to stand on the board after 1 hour. You can then give your phone to the teacher who'll happily record you surfing. If you dont like surfing, then you can swim or just chilling at the restaurants.

Perfect beach for novice surfers, lots of sun beds and parasols for hire, good selection of bars selling fresh fast foods. Big waves children need to be supervised. White sands, blue waters, grab a cold beer and relax.

Selong Belanak is one of the best place to surfing. High waves and beautiful surroundings scenery are awesome. Been there for many times and people look so happy enjoying the moment in this place.

The place is excellent for learning surf. Unfortunately, beach and water was plenty of trash at the time I visited.
I still strongly recommend this place for learning surf as is extremely safe and easy for catching waves all day long

Booked a driver and came here for sunrise at 7am!
Beach was empty! Only a few store owners getting ready to begin their day! Great beach, was told its one of the best beaches rated by the south China morning post! Had to see to believe it!!
Will definitely be back for sunset! Amazing hills surrounding this beach and was looking forward to see buffalos strolling the beach but sadly did not get to see it!
Overall a great experience, come here for surfing around 10am to 2 pm for the best waves (beginner to medium level)
This beach is going to get more popular so quickly come and experience this beach gem!
Sand was sadly not too white, and the weather was gloomy but the views made up for it!

Really loved this beach! One of the best in Lombok. The way to get there is also a good scenery. This beach good to learn to surf, safe and not so crowded. Restaurant, bars and cafes are also available with affordable price. Pay for only 10K.

Wonderful beach, if you want to surf or learn how to surf you definitely should come here.. The sand is so nice. Alot of kiosk you can eat or have a drink of fresh coconut here. And if you're lucky you'll see carabao walking in a shore to get back home

Great beach for beginner surfers. You pay a small fee (10,000) to park your scooter, then follow the path down to the beach. Look for Harys Surf if you want to rent a board or get lessons for a good price (50,000 rental). He is a super nice and chill guy and you'll likely see him out on the waves with you.

Rated one of the top things to do in Lombok/Bali by Lonely Planet, and it sure is beautiful. Quiet during the morning, busy afternoon but still tons of space to walk a bit down the beach and be alone. The locals are really friendly and chill, no children trying to sell you things which is a nice break from all the other Kuta beaches. Its a stunning beach! Fun motorbike past the gold mines to get there, takes about 30 minutes from Kuta.

Amazing view, easy access, 20 min from Kuta. Good waves for surfing (for beginners) .

Beautifull view, a view that you must see. Especially during sunset. Only 40 minutes drive from Praya Lombok International Airport. The road narrow but in good condition.

Large beautiful beach, clear water with thin sand at the bottom, great for swimming and learning how to surf. Lots of choice for food or drinks. Parking 10000 IDR for scooter, sunbeds 50000 for the day (for 2), surf board 50000 for 2 or 3 hours, toilets are 5000 IDR so I'm afraid lots of people do it in the water or elsewhere in the area...

Love the beach but too much crowd maybe because the holiday season. You can learn to surf in there because the wave is good for nubie like me 😁

Stunning bay with great beginner to intermediate waves. A line of relaxed warung restaurants line the beach offering basic food, Bintang and surf lessons. Busy by day but quietens off after dark.

Good beach. Not 5 stars because you had to pay 50k for each chair on the shadow VS other beaches in lombok where this comes for free. If looking to start learning to surf it is likely the spot and you can always find teacher. There are hotel accommodation near by which would be worth looking into

Very beautiful beach. May be the better of the South of Lombok. If you want to begin surf it's the perfect beach. For experimented surfers it's the next beach : Mawi beach

Pretty beach with clear sea and good surfing waves. Several warungs serving food and drink at reasonable prices. There are lots of places you can rent a surf board or sunbeds.

Great surfing, 140k for two loungers and two surfboards all day .. we went back 3xs and is a super fun moped ride through lush greenery

Surfers beach with waves rolling in especially good for beginners.
Lots of boards to rent and can get a local to help with lessons
Waves roll in and it is nice for swimming and surfing. Both our kids loved the water having a go at surfing and crab hunting on the beach.
With the back drop of the mountains it is a nice spot to be.
We had a very overcast day but was still warm. Just not bright sunshine
Make sure you determine full.price before surfing. We did and then they changed it on us.. no need to fight with locals on the beach.

This is a great bay for beginner surfer. Has a soft sandy beach. Offers surfboards for rent, food and drinks! Not too busy and no sarong or coconut sellers bothering you while sunbathing.

awesome beach, kinda difficult to access idk maybe google got me wrong route cuz when i went back from Koeta the road was really good. I learned how to surt here which was awesome. the wave was good for beginner. and for the more seasoned surfer, you might wanna go to the next beach not here

Great white Sandy beach with small waves, excellent for beginners. Beachbreak. Cheap food. 5k R for dirty toilet and 10k R for motorcycle parking. Took a beginner surflessen for 150k board incl. After negotiating.

Took the kids here and had surfing lessons with them. Teachers were great, we all had a great time and will be going back. Beautiful beach with good waves for beginners. Saw a herd of buffalo going down the beach while we were catching waves lol.

Best beach I ever seen. White, soft infinite beach and blue green ocean. Just laying there and listening to the acean acoustics and chirping birds from nearby trees will give you an overwhelming waves of peace. Beautiful.

I've been to over 40 nations, beaches worldwide, and I cannot think of one beach that was more beautiful. Huge, flat, deep, great for running, surfing and relaxing. I was there in Nov, rainy season, maybe 20 people on the entire beach on a perfect sunny day. Secluded. Not many shops. No locals selling wares. The best.

Nice beach in south Lombok, not far away from Kuta. But you must have a private vehicle to visit this place. I did not see any Bemo when I visited this place.

One of the most beautiful beaches I've ever been to. Simple and plain. Skip Tanjun Ann and visit this one. You won't regret it. There is a guarded motorbike park (10k RP), sunbeds to rent and warungs to eat and drink. Perfect to spend a few hours and enjoy this beautiful sandy beach.
