My father and I went to Mawun Raya Resort after riding our motorbikes along that amazing coastline. We stopped by to enquire about food for the evening. The hotel is just beautiful, from the staff to the owners Ralph and Yantie who are so welcoming the experience was fantastic. The setting alongside the decking in the beautiful nature, accompanied by locally fresh caught fish specials of the day or a extensive menu. My father and I had a three course meal with a great wine selection also. A definite place to consider staying in south Lombok. Or if you have accommodation already a definite place to go for some wonderful food, in a beautiful setting. Thank you Ralph and Yantie for a wonderful night.

What to Say about Mawun Raya that hasn't already been said, i agree completely with previous comments, Ralph and Yanti do their best ans accomplish an extraordinary home feeling to this piece of heaven in between the best beaches in south Lombok, our agency messed-up our trip to Lombok and they gallantly came to the rescue. The facilities are impeccable and modern with a home feeling difficult to find these days, breakfast is sumptuous and overall restaurant experience is ta great Balance of Local and French cuisine.
Sunsets in the terrace of the villa after the beach and Satellite TV after a great dinner were very appreciated ! Hope to come back soon !

Clean, quiet, beautiful. They deliver very personal service and make you feel at home. Nearby beaches are delightful, have great surfing, and are nearly deserted.

Me and my girlfriend stayed at Mawun Raya for 2 nights during our trip to Lombok and we really enjoyed our stay.
The resort is located in a really quiet and relaxing area and we stayed in the Villa on the top of the hill with a lovely view to the beach.
The swimming pool is huge and the owner and the staff are really kind and always ready to help .
I had the burger for dinner and it was delicious. The breakfast was tasty and perfect to start the day before heading out to explore the nearby beaches.
Hope to visit again when we return to Lombok next year.

We stayed for two nights at the Mawun Raya resort and we were completely surprised by this wonderful place in the south of the island. The Resort is brand new and conveniently located to visit all the southern beaches: Selong Belenuk and Kuta Lombok. You can rent a scooter in the hotel (highly recommended!).
Our villa was on a hill with an incredible view. To get to the room we could go by foot (a little climbing) or they bring us with a golfcar. The rooms are very clean, with AC, a big bathroom and the design of the interior is wonderfull. We enjoyed our breakfast on our private terrace having the view of all the mountains and Mawun beach. Breakfast was very nice offering different variety; I particularly enjoyed the healthy breakfast!
The pool was big and gorgeous perfect to relax and enjoy a drink. An Absolutely beautiful atmosphere Resort with a delightful French/ Indonesian fusion as it's owners Ralph and Jonty.
If you are looking for serenity, comfort and authenticity this is your place. Really home feeling!

Such an amazing resort in an idyllic location with views to both Mawun and Tempah bays ! The villas are beautiful and very luxurious. The delicious and varied breakfast is served until 12 so you can enjoy a lazy morning too ! The infinity pool is just the cherry on the cake !!

Fantastisch gelegenes, vor kurzem eröffnetes Boutique Hotel unter französischem Management. Es gibt verschiedenen Bungalows mit tollen Ausblicken auf das Umland. Auf diesem Niveau gibt es in Süd Lombok nichts vergleichbares! Wir hatten erst die Villa Mateng, mit Blick auf den Mawun Beach und die Umgebung in Richtung Osten. Haben dann in die Villa Mahi gewechselt und einen grandiosen Blick nach Mawun auch in den Westen, bis Tampah Bay gehabt. Einfach traumhaft! Das Restaurant "Gourmet" bietet einen sehr guten Service, ein tolles Ambiente und es gibt sehr gute Cocktails. Ich möchte, vor meiner konstruktiv gemeinten Kritik vorweg nehmen, dass ich auf hohem Niveau Abstriche mache, aber das mag ja Ansporn für die Zukunft sein: Für das, Preisniveau, auch mit vergleichbaren Restaurants in Kuta Lombok oder in Selong Belanak wird die Küche den Ansprüchen (bisher) nicht vollständig gerecht. Die Gerichte sind französisch und indonesisch geprägt, was eine gute Mischung ist. Aber: Zu kleine Portionen, es ist ja keine Novelle Cuisine und qualitativ nicht überragend. Da könnte mehr drin sein. Wenn das noch besser wird, kann ich mir keinen besseren Platz auf Lombok vorstellen!

"Magnifique, Incroyable & paisible”
MAGNIFIQUE car toutes les villas le sont pour les avoir visitées avant de séjourner quelques nuits dans la villa "Kesik" (tout en haut avec vue). La chambre est vraiment spacieuse avec une splendide vue sur la baie de Tampah. Son confort est égal à cette vue avec ses rafraîchissements dans le frigo, le coin canapé & sa paisible terrasse. La décoration nous a également bluffée notamment avec son toit caractérisé. Que dire de la salle de bain avec son jardin privatif face à la douche italienne ... un régal. Un conseil : Ne pas rater le levée de soleil (à 6h)... à couper le souffle (et vous pourrez vous recoucher en contemplant la baie)
INCROYABLE car trouver un hôtel digne de ce nom avec un restaurant proposant de succulents plats français et ayant certainement une des plus belle piscine de Lombok, à quelques pas de la baie de Mawun avec ces collines sauvage et verdoyante est incroyable.
PAISIBLE car ce "Ressort" l'est. Niché en pleine nature vous y trouverez un petit brin de vent très agréable, que ce soit au restaurant ou sur la terrasse des villas. Sa piscine (splendide) vous détend complètement. Enfin vous pourrez vous délecter des "cocktails" de Marta et déguster, non plutôt savourer, les plats (français) au restaurant "Le Gourmet"
BREF .... le temps s'arrête lorsque vous séjournez dans cette établissement.
Merci à Ralph (manager) pour nous avoir fait découvrir ses excursions (Tétébatu,Pink Beach & les îles oubliées)
Merci au Staff (notamment au jeune Jan qui s'occupe de la piscine & de la voiturette et au barman Marta)
Bon vent à vous & encouragement pour la suite (car l’hôtel est ouvert depuis Février 2016)

A taste of relaxed luxury in the hills out of Kuta. The hill-top villas have great views and the resort's French restaurant offers fantastic food.
