Once I got off the bus, I could see the sea and feel the breeze. It was amazing. There are so many sellers of souvenirs. Most of them are women and children. The way of offering things they sell is so intense. They don't take any no. The children also beg for money. They pretend to offer help taking photos. So it is better to be clear and direct from the beginning if we don't buy anything. The place is great panoramic but for those who need to enjoy by oneselves, KUTA Beach Mandalika is too crowded with street sellers.

Perfect for sunset at the end of the beach - I've never seen a anything like that - low tight, green water (due to the reflection of the trees) and pink sky.

Main beach for Kuta town.
Nice scenery.
Water seems ok - didn't swim here.
Quite a lot of local vendors trying to sell their wares that we decided to leave.

Beautiful beach with big white sand granule. The wave is very calm which is suitable for the children to play in

Beautiful beach.. we spent lunch time in the restaurant by the beach, mom was so happy eventhough i have to work during the holiday 😣
The beach itself is really neat and clean. Restaurants and hotels also available near that area.

It's a pretty beach, but there are other more spectacular, beautiful and quieter beaches a short motorcycle ride away. Worth a visit or a great place to base yourself to explore South Lombok which as a whole is a fantastic holiday destination. I was in the area for around 4 days and had a wonderful time. Highly recommended!

I forgot to take more pictures but this place is amazing. I love Kuta Lombok. Not so crowded. I found my peaceful in this Lombok. Recommended place to rest your mind

I love this beach. White sand, beautiful view, the sea and the sky are blue. The goverment just renovated this area to make it better for public. Around the beach, there are several cafe and gift shop. Most of them are traditional kiosk. Unfortunately, when I took these picture, it was a gloomy day. But when it was a sunny day, everything just perfect.

Crystal clear water, white sands, blue skies and calm waves. Paradise on earth...
(Still under construction for improving the facilities)

Very new beautiful beach in Lombok..
Live this one than Senggigi... smooth sand...
Nov17, there is an on-going construction there....
Unfortunately, the local build the stalls near the beach.. so you might lost its beauty spot for picture....
Local government should take this seriously otherwise the opportunity of this beautiful beach will lost because lots of garbage...
Please save the beach...

white sand beach, big rocks.. beautiful! but government is currently developing this area so you will see a tractor and workers finishing the road. It is only temporary and after is done, Kuta area will be more enjoyable.
Alex Pepe (20/10/2017 12:32)
As we like quiet and authentic places we were not in the good place here. The beach looks good though. But crowded and overpriced.
Tourist Indonesian food is offered (non spicy and plain). Also they are so many other beaches around to explore and enjoy !
David Goliath (29/09/2017 10:20)
This beach is very beautiful..it is more like a bay..with white sand, turquoise water, and some rock.
We can swim in the water, the water isn't hot even in the bright daylight.
There are some cafe with rather high price. There also has Alfamart for cheaper food for backpackers.
Philipp Barthel (15/08/2017 11:05)
We left after 10 min. Many salesmen trying to sell sarongs and bracelets. Also, the whole beach are is currently under construction.
Would and will not go there again. Take a scooter and drive 13 min to Tanjung Aan -waaaaay better!
Ahmad Nizhami (06/08/2017 09:19)
Soft sandy beach. Crystal clear and cool water even in midday. Peddlers are a bit annoying. Fresh coconut is Rp.10k-15k.
Rachoc (25/07/2017 09:30)
beach there is. small sand big rocks. building works i do. many excite me. lots going on. hope they keep building for while. opportunity for good selfie with real builders and big beach sign
Ook Heryanto (27/06/2017 02:15)
Nice beach with unique sand grains. Under improvement by local government.
The local government shall manage the souvenir saler (children as well as the adult) which quite bothering the tourists to enjoy this place.
Jj Tern (12/06/2017 04:49)
Lovely beach, untouched by far.
Coconut there sells for 15k idr which is still a reasonable price.
The sand is rather special your feet will sink through it when you are at the shore line because the sand are round and rough. But the sand closer to the land are more fine.
Suria Sulaiman (06/06/2017 13:54)
The bay is beautiful with rugged promontory, turquoise water, sandy beach, blue sky and gentle waves.
The some beach area filled with rubbish and crowded with stray dogs. Many peddlers pushed people to sell their wares.
Andreas Makus (19/05/2017 03:31)
Very beautiful beach, but the scamming and hawking people/kids destroy what would otherwise be a great and relaxing atmosphere. Construction further down the beach prohibit a nice long walk along the beach.
Dud M (14/05/2017 12:34)
There is a ton of trash dumped on the north end of the beach where the fishing boats are, though they have cleaned up the east end of the beach. The new KUTA BEACH sign is an eyesore - the beach was more natural three years ago. The scenery is stunning. Kuta should take care and do something about trash which also fringes the high tide line on other beaches in Lombok such as Tanjung Ann.
Febrian Shandy Rifano (06/04/2017 00:02)
Beautiful beach. We're supposed to relax and enjoying the beach, but there are so many locals who will follow you to selling product.
Anto Martanto (29/03/2017 00:33)
Better come here when sunset. Don't come here at noon, it was very hot. Prepare your sunblock and glasses. The sun was very bright.
Quinda Verheul (28/03/2017 08:52)
Really annoying locals selling you stuff. We are travelling for 7 month and this is our first time getting into a fight with someone. Luckily there much more beaches more beautiful.
Brent Freborg (08/03/2017 23:21)
All I can say is wow! It is a gorgeous beach with white sand and views to stun! Though a few hagglers on the beach they are not hugely annoying. The water is a little cloudy from the large waves that break off shore and make for good surfing. But it makes for a very peaceful beach with little to no waves that break at the shore. There are plenty of places to stay and eat all are inexpensive
Jef Tistaert (05/03/2017 23:39)
Big wide beach. Biggest in the area. Would get 5 stars if there where less people trying to sell you sarongs or bracelets.
Dan O'Cker (12/01/2017 12:58)
I had high expectations for Kuta lombok... The surfing is ok, the diving is ok. The dogs are many, the rubbish is everywhere, the locals are always selling. There is enough tourism to ensure there are Western items on menus, and you will be pestered whenever, and wherever you stop. The massive developments starting atm will turn this place into another nusa dua. surrounding beaches are accessible by paying a 10,000 entrance/ parking fee each. There are some awesome views and beaches around, but this is not an untouched paradise.
Tiara Aisha D (07/01/2017 08:28)
It's a good beach for strolling around, so many dogs but i think it's kinda fine cause they just laying and don't disturb people
The place is very clean imo, far from the crowds
Edison Mansur (20/11/2016 16:26)
The place is quite picturesque and the sand is a bit rocky - not white fine sands like in Mawun Beach.
They have three swings. My only problem is that there are too many wild dogs. If they are not barking I suppose it's okay but they bark like hell - or maybe they just hate me.
A little littering control will do no harm.
Robert Dannbauer (09/11/2016 12:55)
Kuta Beach is clearly not one of the prime beaches in the south. Although it is next to the town, it is lacking all infrastructure. Very little shade, no beach chairs, no food stalls, etc. Also no waves at the beach, as the surf break is at the entrance of the bay. So good for an evening swim, but you will for sure prefer the other famous beaches nearby.
Léa T. Giroux (08/11/2016 16:59)
Nice beach but way too many people selling stuff! Do yourself a favor and rent a stand up paddleboard if you go there. That way you get to be in the water all day without the annoying parts. The waves are good if you get away from the shore (don't worry it's not so deep)!!
Rian Arisandi (04/09/2016 10:36)
