Staff here are friendy and room are decent. you can take bus from airport and alight halfway to walk into the villa. note: the bus will pass by the resort and drop you at senggigi sentral which is a distance away. so is better to drop halfway using GPS to guide you in.

After travelling for the last five months we were looking for somewhere just to relax, and we found it here. The rooms are very comfortable with in our case a terrace to relax on. Your choosen breakfast is delivered to your room at the time you request, always served with a smile. At sometime during the day tasty treats are delivered to you in way of a fruit drink and yummy snacks. The pool area is well laid out and the water temperature warm and easy to get into. The staff are super friendly and very helpful, Uki on reception was especially helpful with our onward travel plans. Great place to stay, highly recommended.

Simply interesting place to stay. Spending holiday in Lombok with affordable accomodation will be needed and this place is recommended.

I wish to thanks the owners and wonderful people working there for making my stay so enjoyable. Having a broken toe from a previous day, I booked the room directly from the hospital for 2 nights. I decided to stay longer as the place is quiet and very comfortable and was offered an upgraded room for same price. Even a free dinner was offered to me one night after I came back from another visit to the hospital. All was made so I could feel comfortable, I felt like at home so I didn't felt the need to get back home lol! Room are big, water is hot. There is a swimming pool, breakfast served in your room, close to the beach and restaurants.

The villa is nice, the owner is also very nice to us. The villa is quite clean and the employees are very customer friendly and so helpfull. The villa location is surrounded by local houses. They have 2 villas. One looks quite old and the other one is new. Not suitable for elderly or children due to they have too many stairs to go up to the rooms. Overall they have 4 levels room. Some of the rooms the refridge not working. Some also the hot water don't work. Some of the doors hard or even can't be closed.

Great location, quiet and serene, very friendly and helpful staff, walking distance to mini market and restaurants, easy access to taxi to center of Senggigi and around

Great staff, especially John. Nice clean rooms with nice view. Only drawback is no elevator, only stairs but that's ok if you want some exercise. I will stay again here in future.

This place is awesome! It is located in a quiet area which helps to relax. Still, you can walk to Senggigi in about 10 minutes or so. Our room was spacious, very clean and fully equipped. It also had a private terrace with a great view. The pool has a nice flair too. We definitely recommend this place!

John is a great guy. Can arrange all the tours you need at reasonable prices, especially if you haven't done your homework. We got an outrigger taking us 6 to the Gili Islands for 1.2m with snorkeling. Just going to the public jetty for Gili is already around 75-100k each, not to mention the ferry fees. Nice comfortable place, and 400m walk to the main road. Villa Mataano is nestled in a residential area

Op een rustig plekje net buiten Senggigi ligt deze prachtige vila die een luxe uitstraling heeft en is verdeeld in een aantal kamers. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk, spreekt nét voldoende engels en de service is goed. Zo wordt het ontbijt geserveerd op de kamer. Het is een vrij nieuwe accomodatie met een hoge standaard aan technologie; HD satelliet televisie, meer dan voldoende stopcontacten, meldsysteem voor niet storen/schoonmaak gewenst, verlichting is vanuit iedere hoek uit en aan te zetten. De sfeer verlichting in de avond van de gehele accommodatie is erg te waarderen. Er zijn een aantal kleine technische gebreken en de ligging is niet ideaal mbt bezienswaardigheden en het centrum van Senggigi wat leidt tot 4 sterren ipv 5.
