The highest peak of Jogja. Good for sunrise hunters. But it must be smart to read the weather. Can be reached for ± 1 hour from the city of Jogja.

This place quite far from yogyakarta city's. If u want to see sun rise u must leave at 4.00 am. From this place u can see a beautiful scenery. U can see many top of the mountain, such merapi mountain's, merbabu mountain's, sindoro mountain's and sumbing mountain's.

Apabila ada Shangri-La di Tibet sana, maka Borobudur punya suroloyo (berasal dari kata Shangri-La )
Para biksu Budha Borobudur menganggap tempat ini adalah tempat bersemayam para dewa.

It's beautiful and not really crowded.. you can see most of yogyakarta when its not cloudy. You can even see borobudur from here.. even if it's cloudy, the scenery still looks beautiful especially mount merapi soaring through the clouds. 😁

This is the highest peak in Menoreh Hill, you can reach this place either from Borobudur or from Yogyakarta. Better care should be put to this place because most of the walls and statues have been vanadlized by nasty tourists.

The place is quite far from the city of Yogyakarta, but you will get a peaceful atmosphere when you're on the top. I suggest to visit this place in weekdays to anticipate the crowd. Beautiful scenery.

Came here when the weather was mostly cloudy, so need awhile to see the full scenery. Come here o wait for the sunrise, and you wont regret if it is not rainy

You can here and meet beautiful sunset, or just enjoy the scenery. Its really easy to get here and there are a lot of guest house if you want a rest

Suroloyo merupakan puncak tertinggi pegunungan Menoreh. Terkenal dengan hawanya yg dingin dan kopi khas Suroloyo.

This place is a must if you like nature but hate the crowd. There are not that many people here.
There are some spots on the top of the hills here that you can choose, though going up requires some effort.
The place can get foggy at dusk though, so be careful.

Untuk menuju kesana dibutuhkan kondisi kendaraan yg fit mbl/mtr dan mental pengemudi yg handal/ ekstra hati" karna medan pegunungan cukup ekstrim tpi kondisi aspal halus.
Paling ramai pd malam 1 suro krn ada upacara jamasan pusaka
