It is a new rebuild airport with a better facilities. But some people like to park their car at the pick up area of the arrival hall that actually prohibited to parking and the airport officer seem did not care.

An international airport serve few international destinations to Kuala Lumpur, Kuching, and Miri (Sarawak) and national destinations to Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Jogja and Makassar. It's not that big as Soekarno Hatta as Sepinggan airport, but it has modern facilities (self check-in machine, Boarding pass scanners, etc (just named it). with cool interiors. The murals is amazing. Describing local activies in west borneo. The movements of the airplanes is busy enough. Several well-known restaurants are available such as AW, Bakso Lapangan Tembak, Excelso, Solaria, Dunkin donuts, etc but, there's no Starbucks anymore.
The rumors said the airport will have a new Runway to handle widebody-plane. And a new international route to Singapore will launch as soon as possible.

Become big and have a restaurant such as A&W, Bakso Lapangan tembak Senayan, Excelso, Kemangi Resto and etc...

This place have a beautiful design since it has been renovated. Have a lot of car parking area, green field, beautiful facade, good cleanliness, and other. But for the service is standard.

Great ...except long wait and queue. Some pax just not bother ..taking all their time to weigh and unweigh during check -in procedure. Suggest to provide facilities..

it was average as any other airport it was cool the temperature is stable not to hot not to cool but mainly it was going toward the cool a little bit. But what can i say is the line for TSA sometimes long weird. Also the international flight area got nothing in it only seats no food stand or smth only benches and empty rooms.

Cute airport with all kind facilities. Free computers available in the waiting room with internet access. You can also find gemstone store here. Official airport taxi will help you transfer to city center (about 30 minutes)

They improved their waiting room, at the past it's really small, but now, it's wide enough. But their imigration counter not that much, just two of them. It'a even have reflexology counter, but I do not how to use it 😆. And also, they had free charging counter. It lacks entertainment things, such as television for watching.

Clean efficiënt airport. From airport to hotel 130K rupiah. From hotel to airport 100K rupiah. With Grab 50K rupiah, but taxidrivers prevent using Grab.

A real upset for tourist!!! Upon reaching.. we can't find any shop selling mobile phone cards. Next upon using the free WiFi to call Uber we were told to walk out by the drivers (tried a few) but we're finally attacked by the so called private taxi people here. Upon our return flight.. the custom even confiscated our cheese and my mouth wash which was definitely legal. WHAT AN UPSETTING TRIP HERE! A TOTAL DISGRACE TO THE COUNTRY.

came here for business trip and awesomely the toilet is clean, good job. Baggage x-ray inspection still needs improvement. They have big air conditioners that looks like small garden:)

Clean and fresh, but unfortunatelly its doesnt have taxi center.. but dont worry you can see taxi in park area

The last time I landed here, a week ago. Surprisingly changes. It have good design with sofa and stuff. But still their baggage walking in departure is bad. We couldn't really choose which one is us and it's mixed with other luggage from another plane

New west of kalimantan airport.. cozy ambience..they provide sleep chair and good maitence..the toilet's very clean

This is a new airport just officiated but it is still in the making.
The parking area is very big in relation to the airport.
The seats are quite limited at ground floor and the shops are scanty.
The design is good encapsulating local art.
Once you pass the Immigration counter, there are no more shops.
Please have your meals before checking in.
The present international toilet can only accommodate one person.
The entrance for male and female is the same but inside the toilet is separated.
Only taxis are seen here. I did not see any bus.
Go-jek has to stop outside the airport.
To town coupon taxis will cost you 130,000 Rp for a journey of 20km, 30 mins.
The situation may change once the airport is fully completed.

They are revamping and renovating it. The new building is better and brighter, also colder.
However the pathways from the Airplane to Terminal still confusing and not clear.

Airport looks much better than few years back, the exec lounge for business class need to be maintained,,, all sofas are stained n dirty incl the rest room... But staffs are quite friendly

Wide parking space, beautifully maintained facilities. No overzealous security, so you can bring bottled water inside.
Unfortunately there's no free drinking water :/

really clean now after the renovation... good service and clean toilet.. better consider adding one more lane for the planes... old building is being renovated and might get even better
