The place has indoor and outdoor area.
01. The outdoor area is okay I guess, maybe because the building is relatively new. Tho balikpapan's climate is hot and humid in sunny days, the place is quite windy and it helped balancing the local climate and temperature.
There's also a chapel in here. I don't really like the decor and material they choose for the roof. The outdoor area consist of a chapel, couple of bale bale, a huge one nearby the chapel, other bale for bar, and there are other bale for rent. There's also a side outdoor terrace nearby indoor side entrance.
All bale bale use wood pattern vinyl for flooring and build with wood structure (kayu ulin maybe, because its color is very dark)
The downside of this place
The other thing is, I don't think it is possible to access the beach directly from this place, which is tricky and downgrade its name: the coast.
02. The indoor is decent and consist of 3 level. Restaurant-meeting room for approx 30 people on the 1st level, a multipurpose space and other meeting room on the 2nd level, i don't know for sure what kind of function on the 3rd level (i didn't ask) but from the looks of it, it is bedrooms.
Being able to see the clean and large kitchen in the restaurant is a great thing, people will also believe, their food doesn't come from nasty place.
A quite proper restaurant, many elements in the building finished with hpl, even the column. And for the flooring, they ultimately use vinyl on the first floor, granite on the second floor and carpet for the third floor and every meeting rooms.
When I visit, they said the wifi is not available (error/trouble) so, if you're looking for a online surfing facility while lounging at the same time, I recommend you ask for the wifi availibility first.
You also have to know that this place is built quite near the airport, so there will be alot of buzz from all the planes taking off (you can really see planes above the facility many times a day. Make sure you choose this place for the right occasion. If you're choosing the outdoor for somekind of silent gathering; a sermon or i don't know, yoga gathering??? I think the sound of all this plane will really bother you.
The food is okay I guess, not too pricy and have a lot of options. From snacks, indonesian food, seafood, to steaks and burgers.
The coast tried to sell the place as bali with tagline such as: "we bring bali to your place." Which is disturbing and ridiculous. Personally, as a balikpapan born, I hate it, I hope those tag won't last. "

" Very nice place, beautiful surroundings with a balanced combination of wood and greenery. Pleasant staff and very clean..food I had this time was buffet which was good..I will go back again. I recomend the plsce for an enjoyable time "
