Nice Hotel for some days. Breakfast in very good and also the Pool at the Sakala Beach club is very nice. But the Beach is very crowded because of the Water sports activities, so it's better to stay at the pool.
The Rooms and bathrooms are very nice and the bed is amazing!

Stayed there for 2 nights . Regrets still for not taking pool access rooms.
Really worth for price. Buffet breakfast I enjoyed and loved eating there.
Never miss that pool in the night .
Pool is very huge . Literally is like a lake . Pool lounge is more crazy to enjoy to it’s best . It’s a beach resort. Wonderful location
Have plans to stay in Sakala? Do select pool access rooms . Don’t regret like . If I visit Bali again I will be taking Sakala resort again

By far my favorite resort in the busy side of Bali. This place has amazing facilities. Beautiful clean and vibes that are so peaceful in a crazy area. The staff here are just as amazing as the resort itself. Beautiful humble and nothing short of lovely kind. If you come to Bali. Sakala is a must for accommodation. Love this place and the people.

Sakala Resort Bali in Tanjung Benoa area. The Resort is split into two sections by a road. On one side the main building where the rooms are situated and the other the Sakala Beach Club. Nice spacious rooms and also good service at the front desk. Resort looks very nice and the beach club with its elongated pool design and pool bar. Beach Club is great place for meals as well as cocktails as you can chill and have cocktails as you enjoy the beach. This is a fantastic resort when it comes to he fitness facilities. It covers a few floors with state of the art equipment. Problem with the resort is there are too many bus loads of Chinese Tourist. It can get pretty noisy especially when our room overlooks into the pool in the main building.

Awesome place, awesome room, awesome food, awesome staff across the whole hotel from check in to security to guest services, food and bar staff!!! Awesome massage and spa services with very friendly and professional staff. Highly recommend this place.
Thoroughly enjoyed my time at The Sakala Resort. I will be back in future. Thank you Sakala for a memorable first time visit to Bali 😘😃😋

We upgraded from a suite with pool access to a private villa as this was too noisy. It took 7 hours to have it ready. When we access the villa at 23.00, it was next to the road, we asked for a villa on the quiet side and it was available. We spent the first day here moving suitcases. The villa is espectacular, with marmer all over and very spacious. Some areas of the villa are not good clean, with spider webs on the ceilings. The english of the reception employees is not so good makes everything difficult

It's a lovely hotel but not quite 5* but you tend to expect that from countries that economically aren't as well off there 5* is not the 5* elsewhere. We upgraded to a villa which was huge and very well appointed could be cleaned better though as found several dirty spots , lots of industry spots and mouldy fruit around the back of villa in outside utility. Service is fine little slow but that's pretty normal for Bali I think overall giving it four stars as pros outway cons, does need beach beds on beach in front of it though this is a let down as not everyone wants to sit by the pool, also music by pool and throughout hotel needs to be turned down a notch or two overbearing at times, if I'd been in the hotel rather than a villa this may have become annoying. Modern decor a plus though and despite reviews we did not find it pricey for food but think that may be because the pound has a good exchange rate compared to US dollars or Australian ones. Would I stay again yes, it's only a few little niggles that loses it a star.

Maybe surprising regarding all the good comments.... but if you are coming to relax, forget about it. I will start with the positive aspect: Suites are very nice and comfortable. And nice pools
Then, the rest:
- sound system in the pool, that you can ever ear from you suite..... relaxing is not the aim of this hotel
-prices very not decent: food and specially spa are really overpriced compared to outside.
- you have to cross the street to go to the 2nd part of the hotel. Pool is between the road with traffic, the noise of the bar and with airplanes taking off from airport not far.
- you have then access to the beach.... but cannot swim as it is only a port.
- you have Wifi access..... but no bandwidth to even download an app.....
- far, far , far from the rest. You will have some restaurants around but if you want to exit this area.... take a driver and some time
I can understand that some people were happy to stay there, but absolutely not what I was looking for. Just a luxury factory to take your money.
For the same price I would have really have much better. I am counting the days before leaving.

Very good resort. We stay at the suite and it has everything we need and expect from a resort hotel. Their beach club is excellent with the white sandy beach. I'd definitely come back to stay and recommend this hotel to friends and families.

Was a really nice hotel. Our room was very big and very nice. Good view. Staff super polite and friendly. Reception could have been more responsive but all in all very good.

I stayed recently for 7 nights with my family (Myself, my wife, 2 young kids & Dad) and we booked 2 Rooms at this Sakala resort, 1 was Deluxe and another one was Pool access room. We all just loved this place -
* The rooms were beautifully designed * Very Clean property * The most impressive face among all other 5 star hotels in that street * Vegetarian food was very limited * I requested engineering 5 times to fix the Jacuzzi behind our pool access room but unfortunately nothing was done about it * Overall service was excellent * all the staff (House keeping, engineering, security, front staff, kitchen staff, waiters etc) value you as a guest with a greeting and smile every time they see you. The massage experience at Sakala Spa was AWESOME - 1 of the best in Bali.
We would be glad to come back again to stay at this property.

Amazon place !! If you are looking at a relaxing trip with minimal places to go out and maximum time at the hotel , this is the best..amiable staff who know the true essence of hospitality...
Best spa experience .Don't forget to taset the cold lemon and hot ginger tea during you spa visit..The infinity pool facing the beach ❤..couple time at it's best..had been there for m 1st Anniv ..
Food is a lil problem though...very few vegetarian dishes available..the hotel should look at accommodating food options for vegetarians and vegans.

We recently had one week at Sakala Resort. Great food, amazing buffet breakfast, fabulous clean room and above all this, the staff were so friendly and could not do enough for us. Can't wait to go back!

Good service, laundry and pool. The beach is not private so is full of water sports houses and boats on the water. The breakfast is good but not continental. The A/C didn't worked and the hotel didn't fixed for one day.

Super nice two bedroom suite. Stylish, clean and spacious. Lovely staff.
Kitchenette in room is more for looks as there is no cutlery or pans etc. though I do believe that if we'd asked for something they would have supplied it - they are very helpful.
Nice spacious pool. Spent heaps of time there with hardly anyone around.
Breakfast at the restaurant is wonderful and varied. Unfortunately they aren't open for dinner as advertised.
Kids club is average. Not many fun activities for them, especially for the price involved. After this review though, they were very keen to talk about ways to improve so it may get better and the ladies were nice to the kids.
Spa is lovely experience though resort prices....still much cheaper than in NZ but you can also get one down the road for $10 (though not in such a nice setting!)
All in all, it was a lovely stay.

Amazing resort! We really liked the huge Infiniti pool and the gym was extremely good. You have everything you need to stay fit on 3 floors. The staff was extremely nice and helpful while the food was okay. The beach isn't really an accessible beach as there is lots of watersport activity going on but the pool is all you need.

Very nice hotel, quick access to the beach, but I would say that the layout of the room is somewhat confusing. The room that I stayed and has a dysfunctional bathroom lock. It's location is also not great for ridesharing services.

I love this resort so much because of direct to the beach just for 200meter from my room. Also they have best service 👍 very comfortable for the family. They have a perfect swimming pool and a bar in the middle of the pool. Haha good at all!

Great resort away from the hustle and bustle (can be difficult to find food nearby, but there is a complimentary shuttle to the Bali Collection). Good facilities, massive pool and incredible rooms. The breakfast was great and we enjoyed spending time between the main resort and the beach club (which is across the road).

Loving it. Beautiful place with its quirks (Bali style). Kind of away from the thick of it which is nice in a way. Enjoyed our stay and kids loved it. Lagoon room is great.

Elegant mixed with casual ambience. Arround the famous Benoa Water Sport. The villa got 3 levels and 3 bed room very fit for family holiday.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel. The rooms were large and spacious. Our microoven was not working, but the hotel replaced it in few minutes.
Breakfast was good and sumptuous. Beach resort and wine selection was good.
