I decided to try scuba diving on the recommendation of a friend and I'm sure glad I did. I decided to go with Tamarind Divers because they were the closest to my homestay and had a great rating on google. The people here are fantastic. Yvonne was a great guide. She gave me a quick lesson in the deep pool about all the things I would need to know for my dive. It went very well and once everyone was ready we were off. I had a fantastic time at Manta Point and Crystal Bay. Dove for a little under an hour at each place. Yvonne was great at guiding a complete beginner like myself in the water. I had such a fantastic time that I'm planning to do my level 1 diving certification hopefully in the near future. It was one of the best experiences I've ever had and I highly recommend going with this company.

Great first diving experience!
What a perfect way to be introduced to scuba diving! Tamarind divers are great! Professional, nice, gentle and provide very good advice.
For a first diving experience that was perfect an I felt safe all along.
Thanks again Evy and Paul for the welcoming. Many thanks to Yvonne and Wiley for the swimming pool session and the open water experience!!!

I recently dived with tamarind divers and I loved the experience.The pre-communication via phone and email was very fast and precise, giving us all kind information we needed to have. On the spot, we found them very friendly and helpful. I had a good time with yvonne, the dive instructor, who took care of me all time under and above the water. She refreshed me all the basics knowledge I had to keep in mind to safely enjoy the dives. It was awesome to be around manta rays. I will definitely use tamarind divers again and I recommend it 100%

Diving for the first time, I felt super comfortable and safe with Michelle and the rest of the crew. We ended up coming back and doing 6 total dives! I think I'm hooked.
I couldn't more highly recommend a diving company on Nusa Lembongan. Can't wait to come back and go diving again!

Great place, professional but still had that friendly relaxed feeling that makes diving in a new place so much easier. Group sizes where kept small and good space in the boat to out your gear on. Manta point was true to its name, saw many of them. Other sites (5 place where i went) are also good, bit of drift but suitable for be beginners and my guide Bunter did excellent job finding stuff for me to see and he did it with big smile on his face.

Great dive company! We completed 4 dives with them from Nusa Lembongan. They were well organised, their staff were friendly and their equipment was excellent! Highly recommended!

Did my upgrade from scuba to OWD here. Great place with great people. I'm sorry that i had no time for an additional fun dive. Maybe next time :-)

We had some great dives with Tamarind. Great team, very knowledgeable staff as well as helpful. Although we used our own equipment, the rental equipment looked to be in excellent condition.
Thanks to Bunter and Yvonne we were able to take some great pictures underwater.
If we come back to Nusa Lembongan we will without a doubt dive with Tamarind again.

Amazing dive sites, really good and friendly staff, new equipment, small groups (2 divers / divemaster). Ask for divemaster Bunter, he knows the micro and macro fauna and the best sites. Saw Mola molas, mantas, rays, turtles :)

After completing the online e-course, I arrived to a well organized team with the Tamarind Dive shop. Paul instructed three of us, for the pool training and the four required "open water dives" to become certified open water divers.
We had so much fun that we added on a fourth day as a "fun dive", to see more of the premier Bali diving spots.
We also had a magical time diving with Evy and Hollee. They are so passionate about the scuba experience and very attentive. It was easy to relax and feel safe during the adventures on the reef.
So so many amazing fish, corals, ells and star fish, it was a real treat, can't wait to plan the next dive trip.

I just finished my open water certification with Tamarind Divers and I can't say enough positive things about my experience! Everyone at the center was incredibly accommodating and kind. My instructor, Carlo, was extremely knowledgeable. He always emphasized safety and used the pool time to make myself and the other diver feel comfortable and confident before going into the ocean. Plus, his fun-loving attitude and passion for diving was contagious :) In addition to the awesome dive team, the sites they took us to were beautiful and identifying all the different sea life after was too fun. Very grateful for my time at Tamarind and I 100 percent recommend them!

Relaxed and friendly atmosphere, though very professional and safety oriented team. Small groups and good equipment, which is not the case in other diving clubs. Thanks guys and keep the good work!

I went fun diving with a few of my friends and decided to go with Tamarind. It was my first time with them and I am glad we chose them.
The dive guides were fun, experienced and very knowledgeable. We had an excellent 2 days of diving with Bunter, Andrea, Carlo and Hollie. Absolute gems with their care of my group.

We came hoping to see manta rays and hopefully the elusive Mola Mola. We got beautiful reef fishes, GT, jacks and manta rays that came for their morning cleaning sessions. Brilliant. These guys really know where to bring you.
I strongly recommend Tamarind for anyone eager to enjoy the peace and beauty of the underwater world. The logistic support from fetching us from our resort to the end of each day's dives was just immaculate. Excellent.
Kudos to these guys.

Had a great diving experience with Paul and his crew doing the Tamarind exclusive PADI Mola Mola speciality course, written by Paul. Very developing to get to dive with such an experienced diver as he is. The diving is done in a small group on a nice, comfortable boat and the feeling around the diving is warm and welcoming. I had a great time!

My experience with Tamarind Divers in Nusa Lembongan was out of this world! Filled with professional, friendly individuals, each dive instructors and masters were thoughtful and engaging in their interactions with me. Email responses by Evy was superbly fast and professional. My AOW course instructor Paul was just simply amazing. Paul pushed me above and beyond to develop me as a mature and skillful diver. He was also thoughtful and understanding.
I would definitely recommend Tamarind Divers to anyone who's seeking a quality, professional diving school in Nusa Lembongan.

Recently completed 8 dives with these guys, fantastic experience and will be looking to return next time I'm in Indo.
They are very quick to respond to any emails and questions and will try to accommodate all your needs where possible. The divemasters are great and really try to help with any tips on techniques and also special requests (I ordered a Mola Mola and one was subsequently served up on dive number 7 at no extra charge lol)
The gear is excellent and brand new, sometimes meaning a little more buoyancy in the wetsuits, but you can feel very safe, dive comps are not part of the standard equipment rental so either have your own or stick close to DM
They're not as big as some of the shops on mainland Bali, I don't think any on Lembongan are, but this kind of adds to the personal touch which is one of the main reasons I liked these guys, they really made it feel like they were happy to see me each day and they seem genuinely interested in helping fill out logbooks and classifying reef fish which is a big plus for me because I'm a fish nerd.
Also, they're easily half the price of the average mainland Bali operator and they're closer to all the dive spots so should get you to them quicker. Good lunch, nice new purpose built dive boat and local guides. I think they max at 2 dives a day (this might just be a Lembongan thing) so if you're planning on doing a lot of dives, plan for a few days.
I just did fun dives and got a great deal, but they obviously cater for all the usual OW and AOW courses so if you're thinking of getting certified, here would be a great choice. Paradise beaches, world class reefs, and super friendly and knowledgeable DM's, guides and boat staff. and CHEAP!!!

Eravamo stati ospiti di Tamarind Divers l'anno scorso, quando il diving centre avevaveva appena aperto i battenti, ed eravamo rimasti colpiti dall'entusiasmo e dalla professionalità degli istruttori e dello staff.
Quest'anno siamo tornati, e l'esperienza è stata ancora migliore! Oltre l'affettuosa accoglienza, abbiamo passato giornate meravigliose in barca (e sott'acqua, naturalmente!), con la disponibilità e la grande attenzione alla sicurezza che sono tra i punti di forza di questo ensemble internazionale.
Vedere la fantastica fauna sottomarina locale e immergersi in mezzo ad uno stuolo di mante è stato sempre emozionante!
Ancora una volta, grazie ad Evy, a Paul, a Carlo (sì, c'è anche un istruttore italiano!), a Bounter, a Suka - nonché a Capitan Made e Capitan Ketut.
Speriamo di poter tornare presto!

We were (and still are) two inexperienced divers. I have done it once before and my friend never. Both Paul & Evy, were very professional and both made us feel comfortable and safe. Paul was our instructor and he was very friendly, but most importantly a good teacher and experienced diver. He took us on two amazing drift dives for our Discover Scuba Diving. We went on a Traditional Balinese both with the three of us and our captain. This way it felt very personal, not lots of divers at the same time and Paul really took the time to make us both feel safe and comfortable in the ocean. The coral, fish and turtle were all beautiful and colourful and we are now hooked on diving! Would highly recommend this dive school

Thoroughly enjoyable diving holiday was had by our group of divers, with a total of 8 dives over 4 days. Everything was professionally organised, from being picked up from our accommodation each morning, to the dive briefings, boat trips and knowledgeable dive guides that were with us each dive. The dive sites were varied and there was always something a bit special at each site. Personally, I have never seen such a vast variety of coral types before in such pristine condition, the fish diversity was truly amazing as well. This all adds up for me as something that will bring me back to visit again in the very near future so that I can re-live the memories made during this trip.

Dived with these guys for 2 days & had a wonderful time. They're a new set up, but all the Instructors & Divemasters are experienced in the waters around these islands. Had an amazing trip to Manta Point and saw more than 10 mantas! They only take small groups. Highly recommended.
