Excellent service. Breakfast could be improved. No fresh fruit. Coffee/tee or fruit juice, not both.

We stayed 4 nights at this place. If you are looking for luxury, you can continue your search, if not, this place is amazing. It is family-owned and the staff is really really nice. When you check-in, they give you a map and take 5 min to explain to you the cool stuff to do around, the best places for sunset, etc. The rooms all have good WiFi (no cell internet here, nly 2G) and a/c. The difference between the deluxe and non deluxe is that the deluxe 1. is a cute wooden bungalow, 2. The deluxe has a fridge. Otherwise rooms are identical: a comfy bed, some storage, and a bathroom with shower. All rooms have a little terrace where you can eat your breakfast or dinner. The best part: you can order it from the staff and they will make you a meal much tastier and cheaper than the local restaurants for $5 a person. (We tried a couple restaurants around, nothing compared to what we ate here). A few other details: the owners have 3 dogs that hangout in the "lobby" area (2 small and sweet fluffy dogs). At times there can be a lot of flies around you when you eat (heh you get use to it and they bring bug repelling candles). The pool is slightly salty and well taken care of. There is a path leading to mushroom beach that will take you there in 1min walking. If you must have food on the beachfront, go to the Hai grill.

Beautiful environment. Stayed in a hut, which was very clean, air cond. worked great, pool was extra nice. They even have a generetor when electricity was out. 3 minute walk to the small beach. Owner simply too nice. Ask for fresh Juice in the morning.

So friendly and very hospitable family running this homestay. Had perfect time staying there. Great rooms/villas and brilliant location 2 minutes from the beach.

Tiwi and her family are the best hosts you can wish for. She helped us with everything from simple advice on what to do on the island to a medical emergency. She drove us to the doctor and her brother went to get the right antibitocis for us. We were also invited for dinner we were served fresh fish, prawns, fruits, delicious sauces and more.
The guesthouse is itself is situated in a beautiful garden with a great pool. Mushroom bay is 50m down the hill. Here you have several restaurants and the beach. There are little to no waves in the bay which allow you to swim and snorkel all over the place. There are angelfish, butterflyfish, parrotfish, large triggerfish, and much more.
All in all, an excellent stay provided by an excellent host!
