If you want to be away from the hussle and bussell of the mainland, get over and stay on this island. After 4 trips to Bali, this will now be our go to destination. Peaceful and relaxed and only as busy as you want to make it.

We booked a day tour to Nusa Lembongan with Nana Bali Tour and it was amazing. We enjoyed this island so much.....Lembongan is the best option for our vacation in Bali.
Thanks for the great service from NANA BALI TOUR.............

Nice island. You should get a scooter if you wanna roam around. The price ranges from 50000-100000 IDR and it depends on your negotiations. Most people go there for snorkeling and a lot of people would offer you tours for that. If you're new to snorkeling, just do a single site thing if you wanna explore other stuff on the island. For one person per site you can negotiate up to 100000 IDR or a little less. If you pre book this somewhere it would be 250000 or more. Mahagiri resort is a good beach front place to chill out and dreamland beach for sunbathing.

Good for a day visit. Mushroom beach is almost destroyed. Focus on north and west

Short fast boat to island from Bali, Sanor. Clean beaches, plenty choices for eating, best for snorkeling boat tour to see 3 islands. Use scooter hire to get around.

Better than Bali, so relaxing and so much to see. Hire a moped and travel all around the island and cross the yellow bridge to Cennigan Island. Love Lembongan Island. 👍

Not quite corresponding to the heavily photoshopped pictures you can find in hundreds on the Internet... yet good enough not to miss. Having explored the whole island of Bali, I wasn't able to find good and clean beaches. At least this you can find in Lembongan. Plus the surrounding scenery is much more picturesque and the # of tourists is not yet prohibitive. I recommend the island for a few days' visit.

Nice place to relax and escape for a while.
Only motorcycle available in here, you better able to ride it for comfortable journey.
Most of the hotel have no tv and hot water, but air conditioner is available.

If you want to rent for motorcycle, you dont have to give any id card. The price is for 12 hour, average rate is 70k idr, but you can manage to negotiate the price.
Signal phone in here not really good, rarely got 4G for indosat, but it better with telkomsel. You better install maps also for navigate to your destination, but still don't afraid to ask local people, since 4G is hard to get.
For better result to the beach better go after 12 PM when the sea is in high tide, but not more than 4 PM
You have to know near beach from you hotel reservation, jungutbatu beach or mushroom beach because its quite far to walk if land in the wrong beach.
Overall, this island is great for spent quality time with your lover or even best friend.

Almost getting to a point of over developed...construction happening all over the place. Has good access to some nice days out snorkeling or diving with Manta Rays and other fish. A bit polluted and murky if the wind is wrong. A bit of Chinese influence and prices starting to creep up. A bit more laid back than Kuta.

Lovely place with wonderful beach. Had fun snorkeling and banana boat. Must go to dream beach. Remember to tip those guys that bring you around. They are nice people who don't earn much.

Lovely little island that, like most of South Bali, is rapidly losing its charm due to unorganized and uncontrolled development. If you visit Bali, please remember that the Balinese person serving you likely will not get a fair share of the profits and makes at most $120 USD PER MONTH (Or $0.40-$0.80/hour)...so give the kid a generous tip. Also, please remember that the Balinese Hindu are deeply religious people and there are countless sacred places (not just the obvious temples), so try to study up a little bit first and be respectful as this tiny place is under enormous pressure to provide a nice holiday for visitors without causing offence to their dieties.

Perfection for those looking for a quiet, laid back stress-free time. The view of the ocean is absolutely gorgeous. Mushroom beach is unswimmable with lots of boats parked and a rocky shoreline but dream beach lives up to its name! Dream beach has strong currents and ppl shod be careful but the cold azure water is a delight To have fun in as long as u respect the power of the sea. Great shacks around too. Lembongan is awesome only thing is needs better roads and some transport options. Tricky for those who don't know how to drive a two wheeler or don't want to walk. Locals give a ride but charge more than I think is fair because ppl have no options . But Once u get where u want it's a whole nother paradise!

Great diving and relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of restaurants and beach bars to chill out in afternoon and evening.

Its okay. There are about 3 main beaches. However, during the day there are many boats for tours and water activities. There are no boats at Dream Beach but it is small.
There werent many great eating options on the island. Pretty average.
But if you are Bali, its okay for 2 nights. Its relaxing and pretty.

Great surf and really cool dive sites. The beach and the main street behind the beach however are not so good.. A lot of traffic and the beach is somewhat difficult to swim from as there is huge tides and shallow water.

Spent 4 nights on Nusa Lembongan. Went there for surfing and exploring the island. The latter can be done within 1,5h. There is not too much to see, but is has a great atmosphere.
The tide makes it not the ideal place for going swimming in the afternoon and places like Mushroom Beach and Dream Beach are overcrowded. Also, the ships from Sanur land there, so if you like swimming between ferries, this is the place to be.
If you go surfing in Juli/August, make sure to go as early as possible. We went at 10am and it was already low tide.
We also tried the tour through the mangrove forest - it was ok but I wouldn't do it again.
Summary: worth a visit, but no need to stay more than three nights.
