arriving at 11.00 am. Local balinese people were queuing, then i observed they paid 10k-20k so i thought i would get the same price, knowing that im also indonesian. Then i was asked to pay 50k for the regular portion and 60k for the special one. This made me argue with the shopkeeper, then she revealed that it is true they have different price for locals and tourists. I still don’t know why she was very open about this.
The food was OK. They gave me 3 slices of pork meat, two of them were just nice, and the other one was a strange-shaped part, which was very difficult to be cut. They also gave me a slice of pork skin, which was good and crispy, but not the best in Gianyar region.
The best thing in this restaurant is the location. It is very near to ubud central parking.

Best Babi Guling in Ubud. It sell very fast. Come before 1 pm for the crackling pork skins. Expect to pay between 30k - 45k for the regular one since the price is never fixed.

I really liked the food. We were to late for pork skin but good chunk if pork in a curry sauce a bit of fried pink pork which was crunchy and a tiny bit of blood sausage which was yummy. A soup on the side, rice and a mental hot sambal. It was 55k but for what we got i thought it was still good value. Tea and water 5k each. All in all very good

It's true that they have a tourist price - 55 for the 'special' whereas the locals pay less than half that. Maybe thats why it's rated so high? The portion sizes were small but the bits of pork were good tasting. The smell made me wonder about hygiene. Overall, not really worth it :(
