Overall is nice hotel....near the Padang Beach...From Minangkabau International Airport, you can use Damri Bus. Bus will stop near hotel, about 40 m (Jln Damar)

Nice room, like all fave hotels around indonesia. Location are near city center, near a lot of junk food places such Mcd, KFC and Pizza Hut. You can get a pretty nice sea view if you get a room at 6th or 7th floor...and it's affordable...

The room is quite spacious for budget hotel. The location is nice. If you go by bus from airport to the city center, you can just drop off nearby the hotel.

Nice and clean, what more do you expect from a budget hotel. Nice selection of TV channel. Not much selection from the room menu. The restaurant is not 24hrs

Small and efficient rooms with frendly price

- Our reservation got messed up. Requested the double bed but had to argue with the frontline staff to finally get it. They always said “there’s no room left”.
- We were assigned to a room, went out to eat and when we came back, our luggage was wet because it was raining that day and the water somehow found its way to our room.
- After a tiring day, we had to argue again with the staff to reassign us to another room that’s not flooded. The manager didn’t help at all, doubt he even went to a proper hospitality institution. Finally we got a new room with twin beds. Oh well, it’s much better than a flooded room.
- Guess what, the new room’s AC worked like a sauna and it had leaking problems. The last day we stayed there, little stones fell off with the leaking. Didn’t know what it’s about but too exhausted to argue.
- So we reserved 3 last days in Padang in their suite room. Much better but it was not a pleasant experience either. On the second day, the power went off. Thought it was a complete blackout at the hotel but turned out it was only our room.
So yeah, we understand that favehotel is a budget hotel. If you were to stay there, you might want to expect the worst service and the not-so-clean rooms with extremely CHEAP materials. Oh, and save some energy to fight and argue with the frontline staff cause they sure know how to treat guests ‘well’.

I stayed here and they gave me room and 3rd floor and when i arrived at 3rd floors all mess up.
Floors so dirty with deep dust everywhere and saw two persons clean it.
The room is so small, and as usual i checked the bed.
My guess is right, they havent change the bed sheet.
One bed seemed like have been used. You can see the different between one bed to another bed.
I also saw hair on the bed sheet.
Because it has been late as i was check in around 2300 PM and think only stay one night so i leave it.
When i took shower water came out from the glassed beside my bed.
There are so many holes in the wall which need repairs.
Nope, i never want to stay at this hotel anymore.
Once is enough.
Good name by Aston never thought as bad as this

When I stay this hotel is still under construction, the wall is not paint properly yet, maybe it would be better when it's done
