" Its been a long time since i feel spiritualized in a specific place, and Poh Sarang was the place. The entire complex have so many context to explore and nuances to behold.
24 January 2018On the physical aspect of the Church complex: the architecture is a unique and quite seldom seen in many of other churches in Java. For some symbolic and romantic reason, I always love the idea of Mary's cave and a water spring/source near to it. Locals use this water source for their need as well. "

" This is a nice Church with Javanese architecture and designed by the late Romo Mangun... The Blessed Virgin Statue around the Church is also in a traditional Javanese lady... So when we came here we feel like a different atmosphere where almost everything convert into Javanese style... "

" Quite village with catholic majority, very peaceful. The lodge is available around this area, mostly is guesthouse with or without air conditioning, price is very fair including simple local dishes for breakfast. Some small food stalls are selling an "extreme food", cooked in hot chili. "
