A rather different park from most others in Singapore, this park with a pool, boulders with inscriptions and bamboo trees is straddled between two hotels. It is meant as a complement and a supplement to the nearby Zhongshan mansion.
The attractive aspect of it is that it is big and open, it is sometimes hard to find such places in urban Singapore.

This Heritage site is a great getaway with economical boutique hotels and super good food restaurants for Chicken Rice, Baked Char Siew Pau, you'll be spoilt for choice. Of course Bak Kut Teh shops and lightnings for your home. There are many Chinese temples, some are open to public for certain hours.

Nice grass patch to bring dogs.
Benches to sit and chill at the park.

Good to have some green space in the urban jungle. Would have been better if there are more trees in the park.

Another small urban park in Singapore which is nice enough but which probably isn't worth the effort to go out of your way to visit. If, however, you happen to be visiting the nearby Burmese Buddhist temple or the Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall (both located very close by) then it's only a few hundred metres away to combine with a quick look at this park.

Beautiful little park next to the Ramada Singapore. Water features, restaurants and well laid out for a quiet time out. Features as part of the history of the Balestier Heritage Trail.
