current yishun polyclinic is very inconvinence ,less than 10 parking lots ，all near by hdb block only for season parking , the nearest parking area is the sport centre next to polyclinic but due to the one way direction , we need to drive a big round to sport center after align my parents . the sport center parking lots also limited -hope the new yishun polyclinc at ave 9 opening as soon as possible with lesses parking issue

Getting to this clinic is easy. Take bus no. 853, 855 or 857. Alight opposite the clinic.
3 areas that need improvement in this clinic.
1) Doctors are spending too little time with their patients...averaging 2 minutes per patient. Conversations with doctors were brief and it gives the patient the feeling that your doctor wants you out of his room as quickly as possible. Why are they rushing?
2) Never go there without an appointment coz the waiting time can be between 1½ and 2 hours. Even with an appointment your wait is at least ½ an hour.
3) most doctors seems inexperienced.
... but really no choice... coz the medicine is really cheap.

Staff and nurse are really helpful and friendly atmosphere, +Bonus for attractive doctors (LOL)

Well, like any other polyclinic. Slow waiting time, friendly nurses and docs. And cheap too! 😂

A big Thank You to staff at Yishun Polyclinic, especially Dr Tan at Room 81 who went out of his way to solve the problem and made sure I had a smooth transition to specialist care. You make me so proud to be Singaporean, especially after years of tolerating sub-standard care in other countries.

Last week for the first time, I accompanied my 65 year old brother to Yishun Polyclinic following a referral from KTPH. By the time I reached the Polyclinic at 8.15am there were already a lot of people waiting in the registration room. So I had to mentally prepare myself to spend a couple of good hours waiting. The Queue Display monitor was not functioning earlier that morning, so the staff were shouting out the queue numbers. Despite this, the situation remained orderly. The system went back on after a short while.
To cut the story short, by the time I walked out of the Polyclinic at slightly after 3pm, I was not even bedraggled or exhausted. In fact, I was very impressed by each and every staff who had attended my brother. The MO at Room 81 (I couldn't spy her name out) was very attentive and emphatic, the attending nurses and technician/clinicians were all very helpful. My brother had to go through seven tests and examinations. Everything went on like clockwork and done professionally.
One person who I must personally name is Ms. Pang Siew Boon (I hope I have her name correct) of the Diabetic Foot Screening. She was very thorough in her work, patiently explaining each time she performed a test, while at the same time giving good, practical advice. Her bedside manner was so heart-warming.
I must comment that the overall service is at par or even above those at private hospitals and medical centres that I have experienced. I really wonder how these professionals can keep up their composure with so many patients to handle days in, days out.
My heartfelt thanks to all these medical professionals!

Payment and registration counters staffs are not fit to be in service sector line with no basic ethics like greeting customer,smile and etc is not practiced.I was been served with a "helmet" look alike hairdo CSO (counter 7) and her attitude is a let down..NHG and Yishun poly. please evaluate your staffs "deeply":(

Can be improved on patient service n the consultantation flow can be better, if u are very sick.. u could have a very suffering wait. Suggest to book appt online for common illness.

Busy as per all polyclinic but I kinda like the services here as compared to others. Find the nursing attendants responsive. Though all the consultation rooms as well as labs are on one floor, it could get pretty confusing the first time you are here. I find that more needs to be done on the directions.
Directions:
1. You just need to scan your identity card at the front glass door where you arrive and get your room number and queue number.
2. Proceed to the payment counters on the right side of the place where you scan for your appointments.
3. Proceed to your consultation rooms.
4. Proceed to the lab for more test if required.
5. Proceed to the Pharmacy and get a queue number before waiting for your turn to collect your meds.
6. Inside the Pharmacy area, you will see a self payment kiosk where you can pay for your meds.

Make online appointment is a better choice instead of walk in.
Doctor check up very fast, medical fee is cheap.
