Beware of conned job. Called to ask about repair for water heater. Described the problem and ask about approx prices. Yeobuild insists can only quote after checking with a$80 transport fee. On site, plumber does not seem familiar with heater. He keeps taking photos and sending to someone . Then he quoted price that is double of what agent quoted. Think he’s only out to make transport fee.
Please note that I can do the same. Just quote double price of agent. Then If Repair, I get agent to do it and pocket half. If don’t Repair, I keep the $80 transport fee! Surely make money!
