Very poor customer service. Retail staff did not want to call another branch to help me reserve a book because she said that she would have to call me back. Terrible.

There was once I went to the Yamaha tampines branch to try out their new guitars. I tried a few guitars which took about 15 minutes. Then this young guy (probably around the age of 20) with his hair dyed blond came up to me and rudely snatched the guitar away. I was in shock but realised he was a staff member. He then rudely said that the guitars there are not for people like me who cant afford to buy a guitar to practice. (does that mean that everyone who's not wearing a shirt and tie cant afford a guitar?)
I would say that generally the older staff there are pretty nice, but this guy along with his friend (who looked about his age) who was also a staff managing the guitar section were both really really rude. Terrible, would never patronize again until these rude staff are educated by management.

Structured learning of music for the young.. long standing Japanese syllabus proves to benefit the young kids in hearing and musical sense.
