Serves great strong local coffee. If you are from other side of the hemisphere, give this a shot “Kopi-C”. It’s actually coffee with evaporated milk.

A delicious lunch. But it’s so sweet to me.

This place made me fall in love with Kaya toast! Ever since eating kaya at this place i have always craved kaya toast when i feel like munching something.
Please note the coffee is super dark, make sure you ask for lighter version with some sugar.

At bugis. Lovely rich roasted coffee. The good balance. Lovely rendang sandwich. But expensive at 5.40 w coffee. However steam bread is so lovely with chunky money butter. Once had butter frozen n hard was best combination

Worst steam bread ever. Worst Yakun ever. Because of the location this shop is too popular to cook everything properly. The food will be sent to you in such a hurry regardless of the quality. Shame.

Service sucks. Skipped my coffee for few customers, and yet can still yelled at me, "Where's your plate?!". Hello... It's just a cup of coffee and you don't have the queue system in making your coffee ???

No matter how many times I had coffee at this branch, the coffee always has this sour aftertaste in the mouth. It shouldn't be taste like this for a good coffee.
I will not come back again here even it's near to mrt. There is toastbox and another yakun at middle road that taste much much better.

Decent local coffee... Prepare yourself to be packed like sardines.

Good curry with bread - and of course good kaya toast.

Standard ya kun which does the job. The early hours is very convenient since most other stores are still closed. Good breakfast place.

A great place to have that traditional coffee break. The spot is ideal also if your in a mood for people watching as it is situated along the major route towards the mrt station.

Great place for traditional coffee and butter-kaya toast. I usually get Set A with kopi for $4.80, and it comes with 2 pieces of toast, 1 kopi, and 3 soft-boiled eggs. It's sufficient for me for a quick catch up with friends, and tastes absolutely beautiful. That said, this outlet is ridiculously crowded on weekends, and you'd have to probably wait quite a while / share tables with strangers in order for you to enjoy your toast set.

Nice kopi but cups abit small. Toast is great. Small n crispy.

Traditional coffee and toast in Singapore, and even though it is now a franchise, the quality is upheld. Great place for breakfast -- do order the kaya and butter toast, with soft boiled eggs and traditional coffee. Probably one of the best thing you can order here. If you'd like you can go on to buy a bottle of Kaya (coconut jam with pandan) to spread over your toast at home.

The drink is small and too sweet. The toast is good, crusty and thin in good size, but again slightly too sweet. The egg white is too liquid. Pricey. There is a better one.
