Went there with a couple of friends, steak lovers, to celebrate. The steaks let us down.
The service was good, I give them that. But we found all of our meats quite tasteless, my sirloin a bit chewy (cooked rare), the lamb wasn’t tender either, and others also were disappointed by the quality.
It’s a steakhouse and the steak prices are very expensive, double or triple those of a regular restaurant, so our expectations were not the same as a regular neighborhood restaurant.
To the owners: I believe the cuts’ are as prime as mentioned, so that meat is potentially fantastic. Something’s wrong in the process.

Amazing service. Even greater wine recommendations.
Lovely dinner with a fantastic view.

Good but pricey steaks with ok service.
Ate dinner there during our holiday in Singapore. We took sirloin and fillet mignon steaks. They were good as expected from thid kind of place. Service was effective - perhaps a bit too effective sometimes. Waiter for instance was so eager to sell us bottled italian spring water that ignored our request of tap water.
Overal experience was good. 4-star place otherwise, but the price level drops my review down to 3.

Amazing service and food. Staff were very obliging and accommodating, and the steak and dessert were very well put together.

Can’t get any service around here during lunch. Manageress pretends to be busy at the cashier with a dour look. Pity, cos the food is decent

If 5* is mind blowing steak with immaculate service, Wooloomooloo is average, granted I had a promotional set menu. Seems to me places that run promotions would put their best foot forward to earn repeat patrons. The food flavor was good. The salad was slightly over truffled. The steak was so thin I can’t believe they actually got the temperature right. The cocktail was below average. The dessert was average. I’d be curious to see what their regular cut of steak looks like. Service was slow, but staff were attentive and polite. They delivered at least one of my courses to the wrong table, but even then it took over 2 hours for a solo 4-course meal.

I enjoyed this better than in Cut by Wolfgang. I really recommend the Wooloomooloo Steak, nicely and perfectly seasoned with the spice.
And my favourite.... The Truffle Mac and Cheese which was cheezy, oozy, crusty and yummy

The desert was excellent, the mains however lacked the wow factor - in terms of the overall taste. The ambience was amazing; service was superb. Overall it's a place worth visiting. 8.5/10

I feel this is the best steakhouse in Singapore. Steaks are top notch, service is super professional yet friendly and personalized, the view is nice as well. Try the martinis (especially the 1 for 1 on happy hour) and the Mac and cheese as a side.

people come here for steak but what I was most impressed with was the cream of mushroom soup that came with the steak brunch set. it was so good! I think it had some truffles and some parmesan in it.

My first visit was unremarkable, so I was hesitant go try Wooloomooloo again. However, after continuously reading good reviews, I decided to give it another chance. Boy, was that a good decision. The steak was juicy and tender.

Amazing. This My 4th visit and yet again another amazing meal. From the super tasty fresh baked onion loaf that was brought out complementary, you embark on a culinary delight. Needless to say the steaks, sauces and side are brilliant, the wine selection wonderful and the service, impeccable, friendly, efficient and not snobby. On this ocassion we were brought some beautiful truffles chocolates at the end of the meal as we were not fit for desert. On the value side this is not a cheap restaurant, but it's worth it, and I think its the best value high end steak house in Singapore, dare I say a well kept secret. I have paid a lot more and got a lot less in Morton's and I have paid an awful lot more for similar at Wolfgang Puck across town. So you can afford to have a special meal without the need for a special ocasion.

Average steakhouse.. Good service though.

Restaurant with good view and service but the steak is just pathetic. Not worth the price at all.

Great food with great company. Celebrated birthdays of loved ones here at Wooloomooloo on few occasions.

Food was ok but service was a let down. Went on a week day for a special dinner with a guest visiting from abroad. Caucasian male staff was too keen on clearing our table even b4 we had finished our meal and sides.Restaurant was not even half full. Absurb service. I dun mind the price or the food quality but sorely dissappointed with service. I'll never patronize this place nor recommend it to any other.

I ordered my steak at 8.17pm
My lobster bisque came at 8.45pm
The ravioli came at 9.15pm. (They took an hour to cook 9 pieces.)
Now it's 9.30pm and my steak has yet to come.
Update: 9.37pm and my steak has arrived! 8/10 quality sirloin beef steak.
Longest wait ever. Saving grace was one of our waiters who was polite, friendly and apologised. Made the wait bearable. Sadly, the other was nonchalant and did not even comment about the long wait.
Kudos to the waiter who saved the day.

This place has amazing steak. 10/10 will come back. But not as budget friendly!

Great porterhouse - tasty, tender and done just right. Loved the salad with lumps of juicy crab with brilliant dressing. Best onion soup I had in a while and good fries. Not cheap but great value for money. Service was great - friendly, prompt and helpful without being pushy. The tables by the window offer a great view of the padang and the skyline of the financial district.

Maybe I'm grumpy and I should be. Been to many steak houses in many cities. This has got to be the worse ever. For the price, quality, service go elsewhere. Morton's, Cut, anywhere.
Saw the chef take a steak out of the frig, unwrap the plastic wrap, smell it then toss it into the garbage. I should have left right there.

definitely a place you'd wanna visit if you're looking for great food and exceptional team of service staff. special thanks to this particular staff named Naz that has given us such wonderful and memorable experience - we had a great birthday celebration in Wooloomooloo Steakhouse ☺️

Very good steak restaurant.
The ambience is nice with good service, came here for business dinners as well as to celebrate friends birthdays and was not disappointed. Super cold though so bring a cardigan!
Meats are great and juicy, I really liked the tomahawk steak but what I really enjoyed were the sidedishes! The iceberg lettuce, the tuna tartare, the onion soup, the creamy spinach..

The Angus steak I ordered was rare instead of medium rare which I asked for and it was tough. I had to wait a rather long time for addition sauces until I asked another waiter for it. One of the waiters gave attitude which led to my disappointment. Overall, not worth it
Matti Aarnio (03/12/2015 12:06)
My visit was slight disapointing. The waiter hasled with our orders. They also gave our main courses befoe the appetizers. Stakes were a little bit too raw and my baked potato was totally raw. When I mentioned about the potato he said "I am sorry.".
My expirience was not good and comparing the exprience the restaurant was absolutely too expensive.

The service here is amazing, they are attentive and helpful. Food here is also very good, a little on the larger side for a person, recommend to share one steak for 2 people if you have smaller appetite

Chose this place to celebrate our anniversary and I'm glad we did that. Ambience is romantic with dim down lights and tables are well spaced apart. Greeted by a polite captain who ushered us to a table at the corner beside the full length window with a nice view facing Padang.
We are served with onion focaccia. It's warm and tasted so good. We ordered foie gras, Australian sirloin, and end with a nice chocolate lava cake.
The foie gras is perfectly done and it really melts in the mouth! It does not have a strong taste yet enough to tease your taste buds.
The sirloin (ordered medium) is perfectly done to our desire. Not a lot of restaurants can control that well. The steak is tender and juicy. It's served with 4 different types of sauces to go with the steak. It's 12 ounce and it's huge! Luckily we did not order one each!
The chocolate lava cake is somewhat bigger than any that I have tried before. The hot chocolate in the cake is rather sweet and it has a strong nice brandy/wine taste that helps to balance the sweetness. It's good though.
As I have mentioned to them about our intended celebration of our anniversary at their restaurant, they decorated our dessert plate, and even took a photo of us to make a souvenir card for us.
Would really recommend this place for a romantic dinner. We will definitely go back again. Next time, we will try the tomahawk!! Haha...
