Quiet restaurant with local food

Me and my family of 12 are here for reunion dinner. I’ve reserved and paid 2 months back. After discount , it was $62.50 per pax after gst. This is by far the worst reunion dinner I have had since we started eating out.
1) we were allocated banquet hall and I was not informed prior. The white rose cafe has live station but the banquet hall has none. Why am I not given an option? If I am told I will be assigned to the banquet hall, I would have not chosen this place. Does it make a difference you ask. YES, a huge difference. Imagine catered food vs eating in proper restaurant with Chef behind the counter. If you are telling me the food on the banquet hall will be the same as the actual white rose cafe downstairs, then the food cannot be any better either.
2) food was cold and sad and messy and disturbing. I felt like a begger having to fight for left overs.
3) food was over starched, over salted, over stired. Food was just piled onto the existing food.
4) a fly spotted in the dessert. No one bothered until I couldn’t stand it further and asked the manager to change it.
5)food variety was mediocre. I don’t mind a less variety over quality. Desserts were a joke. What desserts ? Neither quality Nor quantity is present In this buffet.
One saving grace was that the wait staff were pretty prompt.
I am presently at the buffet as I’m writing this. Don’t want to bring my unhappiness over the new year. Never again. (If I have the option to NOT give any stars, I will NOT give any)

Average Penang specialties. Staff are friendly and attentive.

係の方も親切に対応してくれました。チキンライスがおいしいです！バクテーもおいしかったです。子供用のメニューもあり、スパゲッティに喜んでいました。

I like their Penang specialties. Nice and comfortable ambience.
