Be prepared to wait a long time. They don't honour appointments. Despite being on time, they gave my appointment to someone else. Terrible service.

Addressing the 2 star review of Paul O:
Paul O. was seen 20 minutes after his appointment time because another sick dog (who also had an appointment) was seen before Paul O. and his dog arrived. He was angry despite the clinic apologising for the wait, and explaining its policy of seeing patients with appointments when they first arrive.
Take note that Paul O's dog had been seen 6 times at West Coast Vetcare previously for various medical issues, with a full recovery each time. Not a single word of thanks was given each time, let alone a positive review of the clinic on Yelp or Google. After having to wait 20 minutes for a consult, he bothered to write negative reviews of the clinic on both Google and Yelp! He claimed that our service was terrible, and that this is not how things are done in the US. Sorry but this is Singapore, and many veterinary clinics have waiting times of up to an hour, even with appointments.
Some people like to focus on the negatives. No wonder compassion fatigue affects many veterinarians. Thankfully these people are in the minority, and we have many nice and appreciative clients who appreciate what we do for their pets. This is the one and only negative review we have on Facebook, Google and Yelp.
Despite the 'terrible service', Paul O. has returned to West Coast Vetcare 2 times for further treatment of his dog, and he didn't have to 'wait a long time'.

We have been going to West Coast Vetcare 4 years now and we know that our dog is in good hands with Dr Melvin and his team. They are professional but also caring and passionate with the animals.
