I had no fun in the beginning when everyone was there because the dogs only went to people if they had treats or not let you pet them. But once everyone leaves all the dogs are active and don't care if you have a tree or not. And if you bring a jacket and lay it on your lap a small dog like the small poof ball comes and curls up on your lap. I had a great time in the end so i recommend you to come in the evening when less people are there.

Great for dog lovers. Learn about how to handle dogs and be comfortable with it. See alot of customers who clearly annoy and mistreat the dogs. Good as a date idea or as a gift for a dog lover. Not so good for kids.

Quite a fun n entertaining place. Affordable price as well. Highlight recommended.

Cute dogs with whom you can spend good time. But caution, they are smart and might not entertain you if you do not have food for them. The company sells food for dogs (1st one complementary following you have to buy). But living animals are not movie screens--mind it!

If youre a dog lover, this would be the perfect heaven for you. On top of that, customers could order drinks and food while enjoying having a dog beside you (:

Erm.... This place is fine . but the treats are really expensive and the dogs will only come when there's treats to eat... Seriously , a small pack of treats coast me $3 alr! The dogs are always Soo hungry that they snatch the food from my hands and I end up having scratches on my hand. You've let too many ppl in ,and the dogs wouldn't really care about you Caz their snatching food from the others. -_-

Nice place is you are a dog person. They have all small sized dogs that you can spend time with. Sgd12/person.

Some will say the dogs come because of the treats, but if you come regularly enough, the dogs will automatically come to you without the need for treats. Love all the little fur balls, especially Lola and Mochi. You'll be greeted with smiling doggos wagging their tails and showing all kind of affection. My weekly dose of therapy.

Enjoyed my visit last weekend. Got surrounded by the dogs waiting for treats. Dogs got super friendly to some visitors even without treats as they seemed to frequent and bond with the dogs well.
Hope that the dogs are fed proper food as the treats are only tiny kibbles or dried bits of snacks. All seemed so hungry/greedy except for Bui Bui.
Place is clean and do not smell as the staff are prompt to clear any mess up. $12.50 per entry for max. 2 hours in weekends, includes 1 drink. First dog petting cafe in Singapore. Call to book in advance before you head down, especially on weekends. Check the age limits if you intend to bring your kids down.

Great fun place!
Dogs are engaged and happy. Can feed them treats (except those on diet at moment).
Can get complimentary drink and ice cream (top up).
Recommended to call ahead/day in advance, as is quite popular, limited seating and availability usually.

I wonder why there are negative comments. The staff are friendly and sometimes bring the dogs and introduce them to the customers. Impressive that the place is clean. The dogs are under dietary control and not all can be fed. Overall the experience has been good.

Poor service and expensive too:( don't waste your time in this dog cafe🙄
Leslie Alldridge (25/05/2017 12:30)
Nice relaxed environment and staff. Treats are a must for any interaction. Makes me wonder what their diet balance might be as they're continually eating treats.

easily my fav dog cafe in singapore! i love the dogs - they're adorable and respond very well, all of them are very active too. each dog clearly has their own set of personalities, and i like how i get to see it when they interact with the customers/play amongst each other. didn't have to buy treats to get the dogs' attention too (i can testify, been here many times and was never disappointed), they're really lovable and will come to you if you're patient enough. the staff are also very nice and friendly, quick to answer any queries and they maintain the hygiene of the cafe to the T. definitely a must go :)
Jasmin Owen (19/04/2017 10:26)
Like most people said - the dogs are just looking for treats. If you are happy to pay for treats for their attention then go. If not go to Marina Bay where people bring their dogs
- they are much more interactive and the owners are more than happy to let you pet them - for free.
Wei En Koh (09/04/2017 11:26)
even though some of the dogs just take your food and run away, some are nice dogs :) the counter staff was nice. I scraped my leg at the cafe (not because of the dogs) and one of the girls cleaned my wound and gave me a plaster! thank you! :)
Amy Nguyen (03/04/2017 13:37)
I don't think the dogs are being treated right. They're all asleep throughout the day and really desperate for food. We were given some pieces of dog food (kibble, not dog treats) to give to the dogs and they were desperately doing tricks for them. You can also buy treats for the dogs.
I've been to other animal cafes where the amount of treats given is controlled (or prohibited) and I think it's a better experience for everyone. The animals are fed controlled, healthy amounts of food, and the customers don't feel like they have to buy affection with treats.
As someone else mentioned, some of the dogs seemed very skinny (especially the corgi). That with all of them being very lethargic and tired makes me concerned for them.
Nandini Raghunathan (26/02/2017 06:55)
It was not great as the dogs only come to you if you have treats. And the treats are very pricey. My daughter wanted to pet the dogs there but none of them come to her unless she had food! Will not recommend this place. It was a little disappointing.🙁
Rashi Peizhen He (18/01/2017 05:19)
The poor dogs. given so many treats in a span of a day. That's the only way to receive their attention. But so twisted. The dogs there have had their internalised reward system manipulated and turned into something scary. Bad business ethics people.

If I could go be zero stars I would. I had really high expectations for the place given its the first dog petting cafe / longest operating one. I made a reservation for 2 slots. And my dad decided he could join since he was around be area. The lady staff (don't know her name but she had a lot of makeup with bangs) was really unreasonable. I understand that for the safety of the dogs and patrons, there is a need to keep the dog:human ratio to a minimum. When I offered to swap with my dad so that it will remain as 2 people for my time slot while paying the price for 3.. all she said was 'cannot'. poor attitude + not making exceptions especially when it's logical = really disappointing

The dogs were very cute.I personally like Yuki-Chan the Pomeranian, she was very gentle unlike woolly who was very impatient but I still like him and I also still gave him food. Some dogs like the corgi jumped at me in oder to get the food in my hands, but I also gave him the food.🐶The dogs were very nice and the girls behind the counter were nice too!!!They were very alert when the dogs dirtied the floor by peeing so they were not just standing behind the counter talking.I was worried that the dogs will keep on eating and not drink the water but they did drink the water so I wasn't so worried about them anymore.Anyways I had a lot of fun there and would definitely go back to see the dogs again!!!!!!!😊
Huiyeon Lee (21/11/2016 14:36)
The place was clean and tidy. Dogs were cute but very materialistic. I mean dogs were indirectly trained to react only for foods(treats). The only dogs who don't really care about food were a maltese and 2 pomeranians.
So you are kinda forced to buy dogs snack($3; less than 10g) it is mixed with jerky and dog food. Yes, dog food for treats. Seriously??
I think they feed dogs very little during meal time. That corgi who is especially crazy for treats was surprisingly skinny. Is that supposned to be like that? I don't know.
Not really comfortable to visit there again.
Tang Geraldine (30/09/2016 00:12)
Service was really good and the counter staff were very helpful and friendly! The dogs were very active though sometimes you need to bribe them with treats, but that's okay cause most of the dogs I've met will not go to strangers unless you have treats.
Istianah mustaffa (10/09/2016 06:56)
Wouldn't even want to rate it one star but sadly that's the minimum. Worse dog cafe i've ever been to. Service is the most atrocious i've seen. Dogs, (as many other reviews said too), only will come to you when you have treats. If you don't plan to buy any treats then just be prepared to sit there and watch the dogs sleep and go to the others with treats.
Megan Chan (26/06/2016 08:30)
the dogs were all very cold to u UNLESS you had food!! ($3/packet) & I had to buy 5 packets otherwise I would be there for 2h doing nothing!! Entry fee was $12.50 ! Very very pricy!!! One dog even barked at my Friend when she tried to pet her... Only go there if u really really love dogs
2.4 (2016) CHAN FONG TING MABEL (14/06/2016 09:56)
Although i didnt go into the cafe, but when i went there, i needed to be put on a waiting list.(2pm) I was told to wait for 2 hours and they will call me. I waited for 2 hours and came back to check.(4pm) (They didnt call me) I asked again, how long must i wait. They told me i need to wait until 6pm. Total, 4hours of waiting time. I was so pissed off and cancelled off the reservation.
Also, I read the reviews of this cafe. Many were saying that the dogs would only go to u when u BUY THEIR treats ($3). If u go to them without treats, they will ignore u. Just like any other dog cafes. Need to pay for the food to LURE the dogs to go to u. $3 for a small packet of treats.
How expensive but clever way to earn money!
Would not go back again unless the dogs are trained to go to people without food.
Petting cafe turns to feeding cafe.

Horrible, horrible, horrible service. Would never never ever reccomend to others. The two girls at the counter were not nice. They didnt even tell us we needed to get there by a certain time when they called us about the reservation. And when we got there, they were just looking at us blankly, then came together and told us that we were extremely late (only 15 mins). And told us they gave up the seat to people. they could have just told us we needed to get there by a certain time and everything would be ok. Will never go there anymore.
Victor Tham (04/06/2016 16:12)
I'm giving this place 2 stars as it's pretty clean. However if you're expecting to have some fun with the dogs with your entrance fee, I suggest you look elsewhere. All of the dogs minus the poodle will not let you pet them unless you have treats - which you have to purchase additionally. The dogs generally see humans as a food source and that's probably not the dog's fault. The way the system is setup is indirectly training the dogs to think "if I ignore the humans long enough, they will be forced to get me treats".
