Generally good ambience in the middle of a green hortpark. We reached around sunset for dinner and the place is set for a good evening out.
Manager is friendly and happy to introduce the food to us. We had a risotto and seafood grill + a starter.
Quality of food is good with well balanced flavours.
Portions of the food, is as per what you expect of French food- not big but finely plated. Overall a good ( and romantic) after-work dinner with your loved one. Look out for promo on Apps if you decide to stretch your dollars even more.

Ambience pleasant. Food delicious. Prices at 50% discount is worthy.

Afford French food. Scenery is better than the food though. Great place for wedding events.

I had a mushroom linguini there while it was SUPER hot walking around hortpark. Maybe I was a bit hungry too I found it was exactly what I was praying for. I had to add a bit of salt and pepper to enhance the taste though but overall the sauce and pasta were cooked right. The down side was that they didn’t seem to have cleaned the table before I sat down...

2 stars because after talking to the manager he took the one offending dish off the bill. Service, while friendly was completely strained. I had to wait 45min for my dish to arrive, long after all my companions received their food. I ordered eggs Benedict and for the price you basically get only one piece with a very sad salad, and it's not even executed competently. If you come visit the park, make sure you have plans to eat before or after because the Vinehouse, while nice is really not worth patronising.

Good ambient and great food quality. But slightly small for a wedding location

It was my first night out with my hubby in a year, and we wanted the perfect restaurant for a perfect evening. Despite the excellent looks restaurant was an expensive deception. I took a peach salad. For 17$ I got not even a 1/2 of a peach, 3 cherry tomatoes, 1 nut and many leaves. Our choice of wine was not available, the other wine was bad, too warm and was not served in the same glasses. Glasses were not cleaned properly, and my hubby had the lipstick traces on his glass. Music wise you'd expect some jazz or that kind of classy music but instead we got Katy Perry. The service was extremely slow, and the restaurant was way too loud for an intimate evening in an expensive place. The only thing that saved the evening was a cheese and wine bought in cold storage afterwards. If this were a cheap end restaurant, I'd probably not complain but for the price we paid the quality was beyond acceptable. Avoid at all costs!

Like the greenery and the ambiance. The prices are a bit on the high side, but their set lunch menu is reasonably price. The deco and taste of the dishes are lovely presented.

Waiter's really just mind their own business. They gave u zero attention. Keep looking down on the floor when they walk.
Food is relatively not bad. But the kids meal roasted chicken is a tad too salty.
Venue is perfect for kids.

Quiet place for lunch where you can enjoy good food and nice ambience. Food was above my expectations. We had the ala carte menu instead of the set lunch and found the prices a tad high for lunch. Having said that, we did have a lot!

Lovely ambience and good food. The cod is very good.

Lovely ambience at night or during sunset. Like the deco. Food was average and pizza dissapointing as it tasted like ready made crust.

Really good place. Cozy atmosphere. Especially if you have 40% discount from eating you are superhappy of this tasty food.
And there are no problems with stuff. They are friendly and fast enough.

My first time here, and I'm still annoyed at not discovering this place sooner! Encapsulated by the calm of nature in a little corner of hortpark, Vineyard is a cosy gastrobar that exudes a strangely rustic charm. The interior is minimalistic and surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows that expose one to a breathtaking view of the surrounding greenery. Al fresco dining is also available, but I guess they only open up that area around dinner time.
The food took a while to arrive, but it was worth the wait. First up was the Orange Miso Cod Mignon ($29++). The capellini was al dente, broth had a pleasantly sweet kick and the cod itself was marinated and cooked just right. Next to arrive: Cap of Ribeye ($36++). Requested for medium doneness, but inconsistency was apparent as some areas (especially the sides) were tough while others (some patches within the core) were red, wet, and insufficiently cooked. Taste-wise, the meat was undeniably well-marinated with smoky undertones that thankfully didn't overwhelm the main flavor. Following that: Farmed Poulet ($30++). This was by far the worst dish. The breast meat was dry and the poultry jus made me cringe. Furthermore, the accompanying 2 undercooked slivers of carrot cannot be labeled as anything other than sad. Finally, the last dish: Oven-baked Sea Bass ($29++). The piece of fish was noticeably small in relation to the other dishes, but the succulent meat topped with creamy sauce more than made up for it.
Portion size was a little on the small side especially for the fish-based dishes and all the mains were a tad too salty. Strangely, despite it being an ordinary Tuesday afternoon, 4 dishes were unavailable: the Iberian pork, beef cheek, rack of lamb and prime rib. A little disappointing since I turned up for the Iberian pork. But I'll definitely patronize this establishment once more; not so much for the food, but for the serenity and intimate atmosphere offered by this hidden gem.

Was at the HortPark for teambonding session and we decided to head to Vineyard for team lunch. Service was quite poor and food was served very slowly. We were quite disappointed overall.

I've been here twice, and this place has never disappointed me.
They have good steak and very interesting food combinations. The sides are also paired very well with the main dish to complement and bring out the taste of the main dish to the fullest.

The ➕: beef cheek, cod fish, bisque were good. Nice setting. Service was fine.
The ➖: not cheap, especially the wines, additional serving of bread are chargeable, butter wasn't good, brie fondue and pizza really so-so.
Overall not bad, but not quite the standard expected at a French restaurant.

Good food & nice romantic ambience. Far from crowds
Jeff Yeo (01/12/2016 16:13)
The service is terrible, orders are missed out and they don't bother to note who ordered which dishes. The waiter kept coming with dishes and asked who ordered the dish. I was there on a biz lunch and ordered the set lunch which consist of mushroom soup, a creamy chicken dish and desert. Not impressed with the food quality. Nice deco and environment doesn't make up for bad service and average food.

After spending the morning in the park I came across this place and needed to eat. There were no other nearby options. Looking at the menu, the prices were alright, and people inside seemed to be having a good time. My order eventually came (15 min, for a salad) the service was incomprehensibly slow. I wasn't checked on, and had waited for someone to come by so that I could order a desert, but instead decided to get up and pay my bill since no one had passed by in well over 10 minutes. I stood inside by the cash for a while to flag a worker down and waited another 10 after that in order to get the bill, I immediately gave them cash and waited another 4-5 minutes to get my change.. I've had terrible service before, but never this bad. (tl;dr I waited at least 25 minutes to pay my bill and leave..)

Read a fair bit of negative reviews but still decided to try it anyway. The service was surprisingly attentive. Food wasn't spectacular, quite ordinary. The fruit mocktails were refreshing.

Food is great! Done with your food? Take a stroll around the Hort park, ideal after meals especially in the evening!
Olivier Reuland (24/04/2016 05:33)
We went for brunch. The service was absolutely awful. It took forever for our orders to arrive. They all arrived at a different times, at least for those that actually arrived. The fourth person received her plate cold and had to send it back. The fifth person received his plate when the first three had finished theirs long ago. The last person never received her order. We did not receive any apologies nor any gesture for this. Never again.

Been here twice in a week. We came back because we were so please at the first visit. Good service, nice atmosphere and the food we ordered was great (spinach scald and salmon for me, my wife had mushroom risotto). The second visit they had a promo, 1.2 Kg Wagyu steak for very reasonable 65S$. I was skeptical due to to the price but honestly it was a peace of meat that was one of best I had in Singapore and that is from a person been to almost all the well renowned steak restaurants. An extra eloge to Cristian Manacapu who served us.

Excellent ambience with awesomely delicious food. Service is excellent. Great for couples to hang out.
Had Vineyard salad, hazelnut crunch bar, pizza portofino and beef cheek at the cost of $53.67 (40% off from eatigo reservation app)
