We dined in the Landmark Restaurant and we have the lunch buffet. The food selection is good but my vegetarian friends has little selection. It's still a good value for the money.

A lot of unique shops here. Let's face it, the place is a bit dated. Still, if you are looking for a bargain and the trek less taken, do check this place out. Also, a good place for business stays and basic accommodation. A lot cheaper than a number of hotels and location is just a bit off Bugis MRT.

Location is right beside my office, which was convenience for me to invite my overseas client for a stayover. But i did check with Village Hotel for exclusive promo if i have regular bookings from oversea clients but they are not flexible to do price adjustment. So. Nah.... i choose other hotels from Bugis Area. The rooms there are normal. Nothing exceptional to impress me. But honestly the burger downstairs is good.

The best part of staying in this hotel is that you are provided with a handy phone. This handy phone can be used to make international calls, search Google maps while traveling in Singapore, find info on Singapore sightseeing etc. at no extra cost.
It's prime location and good ambience make it a preferred option of accommodation for those who visit Singapore for official purpose. Breakfast options are varied and sumptuous. The hotel shares its name with the area (it's called Bugis Street). It also has very good ratings in TripAdvisor.
P.S: 'Like' the review if you find it useful.

Overall very good value for money. Great location convenient to all buses and trains. Pretty much can get to most places in 20-30 minutes. Rooms were nice and clean and relatively spacious. Pool was also nice. Corridors carpeting was a bit musty, not making the greatest impression. Also lifts werent very convenient to use. Ive been advised that both of these issues will be addressed in the coming year. On the whole I would recommend.

Fantastic place to stay when in Singapore.
Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast buffet. Rooms were clean and spacious. Good view from every room. Hotel located next to Malls and MRT. Makes travel convenient. Many restaurants around the place.

Superb hotel! Excellent service!!! They provide you with a free mobile phone which you can use during your stay . They also provide their guests with umbrellas and since it was raining most of the time we were there, we found it very convenient. Rooms and bathrooms were also very clean.I would definitely recommend this place!

Cool good place with good view. It's 19 floors building. Breakfast was also good.
It's near to Little India, where many Indian restaurants (even veg ones) are there.
Rooms could be better.

I went to the hotel to meet my manager for a part-time job. However, I found the entrance a tad bit weird. Unlike others hotels, the lobby is not on the ground floor. When you enter the hotel, you will be approached to be helped so that is pretty nice.

Hotel is dated and smelt of durian and cigarettes. We specifically requested a non-smoking room but were quite annoyed when we were put in a room where someone had just smoked in.
The hotel staff are polite and the hotel is quite close to great food and culture.
The price is affordable, I would have given them 5 stars if it wasn't for the problem at check-in.

Location is very different from what I expected. But the more I explored the area, I more I got to see a more local feel to singapore. Hotel itself is a little old, but the people there are friendly and made up to the hotel. Really impressed that there was a mobile phone waiting for guests to use, unlimited data and calls. Recommended and would definitely go back.

The location is in surrounded by restaurants of different cuisine. It is also located near a shopping district. The hotel's decor has a nostalgic ambience. The facilities is decent though as the swimming pool looks run down.

Hotel lobby is nice and clean. Restaurant is spacious and bright, but service (clearing tables during lunch buffet) can be a bit slow. Food was generally good, except for the crab. Wide variety of dishes that were constantly replenished. Desserts were also good, if a bit boring.

A reasonably priced hotel in a convinient location. Not a luxury hotel by any means but clean with all the necessities to serve your stay. A great choice for practical travelers.

Parked at Golden Landmark Building where Village hotel is located in. It is not easy finding the entrance to the carpark and it's also not easy getting a lot too. It was a good experience trying the car lift to park at the 4th storey lots. :)

The reception after the solemnization of my daughter's marriage. Setting good. The buffet spread was OK but not spectacular. Empty plates stayed on tables for too long.

One of the oldest hotel located near the heart of the city it still manages to remain relevant by revamping it's restaurant and accommodation facilities. Muslim travellers will be delighted to know that Arab street with it's many halal restaurants and eateries is just a street away. Textile and carpet shops are located nearby so shopping for such exquisite souvenirs will be a breeze!
Syamil Mirzan Zulkifli (07/08/2017 09:30)
I was dining at the The Landmark restaurant. The food were delicious and the service was up to standard! Went for a dinner buffet. The setting was beautiful as the restaurant is just by the poolside! Probably will go again soon!
Van Nellex (09/07/2017 13:34)
Clean and nice. Foods can be found anywhere outside the hotel at arab street

It's kinda old building. The room inside was OK and feels clean. I stayed at level 19 and it was quiet so that I can sleep well. One disadvantage is, the hotel only provide 2 parking vouchers a day, so if you travelling in and out of the hotel more than twice a day, you may wanna reconsider as it's not 100% free parking for hotel guest.
Nava Gohain (05/06/2017 05:55)
Clean rooms with good view and centrally located, with a temporary mobile phone facility. The breakfast is widely spread with many options from both indian and continental cuisine restaurant.

Good three star hotel having nice pool
And restaurant at 5th floor. Food is good
but only issue we had was we have not been given the room with Double bed instead of booking in advance #1513
we stayed for 6 days - but no courtesy has been shown by the hotel as well as front office staff neither any special attention has been given - Very Disappointed.
You should take more training sessions.

If the rooms were renovated at this hotel (which is in a great location), it could easily achieve a 5 star review.
The staff were always courteous and thoughtful. For example, during check in, and upon seeing our young daughter, we were offered a 'themed' room. Even though it was decorated for a boy (hero's vs princess theme) our young daughter still enjoyed the glow stars when the lights were turned off each night.
The location is great - only 5 mins from the MRT, and in a great spot for some unique and trendy cafes and restaurants.
For us, the only downside was the room. These are desperately in need of a renovation. Wallpaper peeling, tired carpets, and stained bathroom. Although housekeeping did everything they could to present the rooms well, don't expect too much!
Despite the rooms, we still enjoyed our stay here.

Amazing hotel with super luxury rooms. Each room has an awesome view of the surroundings. The hotel also has a great swimming pool and a cool bar to chill out.

Difficult to find as spacious rooms as this Hotel has at such a reasonable price in Singapore, even more at this central location. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom has been recently renovated. Staff was very friendly sending my coat to the airport which I forgot in the room. Will definitely stay here again.

Clean, quiet with spacious rooms. Friendly service. Enjoyed waking up, distantly aware of the call to prayer from the mosque nearby.

This hotel is cramp.
Wedding event at level 5 where swimming pool is that location. We can't swim there because so crowd.
Executive lounge: Cramp with birthday party, no hotel staff to guide them where other guest cannot coming in for f&b. They should a limit guest to enter executive lounge.
No security guard/officer patrol around hotel at emergeny staircase. Guest is Smoking at staircase.
Well this my first and last to stay-in at Village Hotel Bugis.
Zindy Noertamtomo (23/07/2016 14:10)
Very good value. Strategic location in Kampong Glam neighborhood. Close to many restaurants (Malay, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean), and the nice Bussorah Street just in front of the Sultan Mosque. A 7 Eleven just across the street, a few money changers, and only 175 m from Bugis MRT Station.
Although the hotel is old, but the room was new/modern and clean. Staff were nice and helpful too.
Antonio de Abreu (10/07/2016 01:27)
This hotel is tired. It's in a good downtown position near all the amenities like transport and shopping centre etc. The standard room I stayed in was large by European standards. Breakfast is geared to a lot more of their Eastern and Indian clientele but again don't expect croissants in the morning. The gym is fine and the best part of the hotel is the pool and the pool area. You can get better in Singapore for the same price but it's strong point is it's location
Swapnil Thakur (04/07/2016 07:35)
One of the best hotels in Singapore. Reasonable Price. Very good and friendly staff. Large , comfortable, furnished rooms. Great food. A variety of choices for Indian, American and Chinese foods in breakfast. Taxis available at the hotel point and MRT Station is very near. At a very good location. Walking Distance from Little India, Mustafa Shopping Centre, Bugis Street, Arab Street etc.
Dovilė Litvinavičiūtė (14/06/2016 13:50)
Good quality service, hospitable staff, always will help no matter what question. The rooms are quite spacious, clean and has great views if the room is on higher floors (mine faced Malay district). Also the location is good, MRT station is nearby and the main attractions are even in walkable distances.

Direct access to the Golden Landmark shopping mall. Have a taste of Bugis. There are many smaller scale hotels in this area. This one is the large one and closest to Malay village, and Arab street definitely. 24-hours 7-Eleven, Domino's Pizza, many local eating places just surround the hotel.
Very close to Malay village where there are plenty of Arabian cuisine, Malay and even Chinese coffee shops.
Very central to the Bugis side of Singapore. Good to explore, visit, and tasting.
