All auto payment down. Long wait due to payment counter. They should improve on the efficiency of payment and flow of cars.

Went there to change IU. Getting the receipt for the service was confusing but the personnel who does the iu job did a neat and tidy job.

Here's where I usually inspect my motorcycle and car. Nice friendly staff to guide you through your vehicle inspection. Waiting time might be long during the peak hours, it's better to go early in the morning or weekdays.

Mandatory car inspection place. effecient and expensive. At times the lines get long but the process is quick. The self pay kiosks take some getting used , but it all works. You can walk along with your car to see the various stages of testing that they do

Systematic, efficient and fUSS-free. The only queueing is when you enter Vicom. There are 2 lanes ,one for cars ,the other for vans and other larger vehicles or private hire cars. Once you are near the inspection line, you should go and pay for the inspection fee first. There are self-payment machine(you can use cash, NETS,credit cards, etc) and one manned booth at the far right lane. After getting the inspection clearance cert, you may proceed to pay for your road tax. Of course, if you go during lunch time or Saturday, it may be more crowded. It's safer to give yourselves about an hour for off-peak or 2hrs during peak hours and Saturdays for the inspection.

A few years ago, i came here to have my car inspected. The male staff who attended to my car was rude and arrogant. Claimed that the front driver and passenger window films failed his meter. I explained that I had these window films for many years and were inspected at several other Vicom branches without any problem. The staff then in an arrogant tone, said if I am not happy with his findings, I can go file a complaint or go another branch and pay for another round of inspection. Furious, I tore away the film and went in again. He gave me a grin when he gave me my papers. Vicom need to properly train these employees in cust service standards.

For bikers, please skip the que from the cars and lorries by keeping to the right. Bike inspection lane is obscured when the que is long.

A couple of rude and unprofessional staff who left a bad taste. Went there to inspect my car and was directed to a inspection booth where there were 2 staff manning the booth. One of the staff signaled me to drive closer which I did. After I did that, the other staff started shouting, yes shouting angrily, at me and asked me why I drive over without instruction. When I explained that it was his colleague who asked me to drive up, he still continued his shouting. I got pissed off and asked for his manager.
I may send my car there for inspection but please remember, I'm a paying customer and a human being. Please treat your customers with respect.
To be fair, I do send my bike there for inspection as well and the bike inspection personal seems more friendly.
Update
Decided to give them another try and went there for another annual inspection. After I reached there, I was instructed to leave my car with them and walk to the end of the inspection booth to wait for my vehicle. As I was walking to the end, I decided to walk back to see what they were checking. After the first inspector checked my car, he was supposed to move my car forward to hand the car to the next inspector to conduct the next inspection which was about 8-10m away. To my horror, the first inspector made my wheels to spin on the painted floor. Note. My car is using Conti Sports Contact 5. As pretty grippy tyre. I could not think of any other reason other than he had floored my accelerator which caused the wheels to spin.
Was there really a need to spin the wheels? The inspector denied when I asked him why he did that and walked away sheepishly.
Once may have been an isolated case but twice???? You decide for yourself if you wanna come to this inspection centre to inspect your vehicle.

For this trip, it was fast, as it was off peak. My previous experience with checking of my ERP IU was bad. Only 2 guys who handled long queue and admin work.

Went to fix spoilt In-vehicle Unit (IU) on the eve of CNY. They were still open for full day. Quick, efficient and friendly service. Good recommendations, too.

Been coming here for 3 years. Cashier staff service quality usually very poor. Technicians service standard much better though. They now have automated payment machines, a bunch of people went to the cashier and she just told us to go to the machine while she hid in her little box.

Terrible! Only one lane operating when there are three. Long queues of engine running cars waiting. No queue controls and lane cutting among cars. Avoid this place.
