Really disappoint United Veterinary clinic, my dog go to this clinic over 2 years, last time I send her do sterilization because infection of uterus, but after that my dog Oestrus again, I call back to check why , the Dr said it's because hormone didn't clear. After that , my dog have second time Oestrus, the Dr said maybe because infection of bladder, even I bring my dog back , the Dr who name Nicholas didn't tell us maybe the sterilization not successful and give dog Yuannan Baiyao(Chinese Traditional medicine which not work at all and very expensive , only for money purpose) .Because of Oestrus, my dog uterus infection again , I have to send her to another Clinic do one more operation, and they give me the report show have ovarian remnant ,my dog over ten years old, suffer so many.

I brought a community cat to them recently. Huge, hefty bills. At the end of 4 days and $1.9k spent, there was no improvement to the cat's condition. In fact, cat got worse and was on the verge of dying. I transferred the cat out to another hospital. Cat is now still on medication but very well and alive. Nelson Zhang was the vet in charge back at united vet. No expertise. Sanitization of the hospital is questionable.

Tobi (my then 2 months old puppy) had parvo and tick fever a month back - huge thanks to Dr Mark, Dr Wong and the great team behind United Vet for their unwavering patience and love that allowed Tobi to recover well. Follow ups were also done regularly and really appreciate the team’s effort as a whole :)

Pros: Overall services was damn good because of their high cost charge!
Cons:
1. Pricey hospitalization which is charge by per day, not by per night which is not a fair deal. Pet stay in a standalone cage (Not room), tht alone will cost you $82 PER DAY.
2. There is a in-patient vet care charge which should be bulk together with the hospitalization but they add in as a additional charge. This charge wasnt there last time.
3. U can see the management is $_$ face, why? When you admin ur pet, they will ask u sign a letter which stated the price for resuscitation and cap limit treatment cost (I cant remember is per day or per treatment) . I can understand resuscitation need charge but i dont understand why they even ask u to put $xxxx cap limit treatment (per day or per treatment)? So if i put, r u saying u wont treat my pet if it is necessary even if it is over the cap limit i set and let my pet die?
4. Cant imaging if a pet had to stay there for more than 2 week. The cost can be more than 3.5K, who can afford? It a daylight robbery.
5. My pet stay there for 3 day (by right should be 2day1night) and I got a final bill of almost SGD$1.2K+++. United Vet wasnt not my regular vet clinic after few visit and notice their high vet cost. I will only go there if my other vet clinic wasnt available during the time i visit. I will try to avoid this clinic at all cost if possible.
Serve by Nelson Zhang, he even charge me for Dewormer which already tab with a billing of $700 on tht day! Unlike other vet, who give me FOC for Goodwill for almost the same treatment. It not the first time visit this clinic but few time, serve by diff vet.
But if u want to go there, personal i will prefer Dr Nicholas Teo

We brought our beloved dog in on an emergency. The nurse at the reception upon hearing that he was not in a good condition, quickly reacted and went to the doctor. The doctor immediately said to open the back door so that we can bring in our dog quickly from the car. 2 Doctors and 2 Nurses attended to our dog without even asking for registration. We were initially worried that we would have needed to wait in queue with our dog in pain. We truly appreciated their kindness in reacting quickly to our call for emergency. Wonderful Vets and Nurses!

My second time coming back and this time was served by Nelson. The good experience started when I called in and the receptionist not only told me they were free to see me, but also asked what my dog's name was and was concerned for his injury.
Nelson was then assigned to my dog and he explained things really well. I personally feel that they don't overcharge at all (compared to what others have said) as their cost is very reasonable. What I like was that he even requested to see my dog 3 days later with no cost at all - that's truly caring for a 'patient'.
Nelson was kind enough to show me how to use the eye drops and eye gel so that I can get the hang of doing so on my dog. Overall, really pleasant experience. Receptionist were really nice too and would sit with your dog and play with them from time to time.

I had the misfortune of visiting United Vet for the first (and last) time as I wanted to seek a second opinion on my dog's condition. I was billed a hefty $1.5K and my dog was traumatised from the hospitalisation and in my opinion was in no better condition.
Hospitalisation fees were charged by day and comes with additional in-patient care charges. Vet was very helpful to point out wherever charges were applicable. My dog was filthy (damp and sticky fur) when I went to pick him up and when I asked for him to be given a bath before discharge, vet pointed out that this can be done with a small fee and some waiting time. How and why was he found in such a condition is another mystery since that was definitely not the condition he was in before admitting.
In short, I would not recommend anyone to this particular vet in charge unless one enjoys dealing with passive aggressive behaviour while already stressed up with pet's illness.
Vet-in-charge: Nelson Zhang

I would like to thank Dr Melissa Tjahaja and her team at United Veterinary for their amazing work and 'never give-up' attitude to attend to Tim Tam and her litter. I will not forget this day & your dedication.

I was a first timer dog puppy owner. And of course, first time walk-in with no appointment. The clinic is very understanding and given me the priority. I think this is the correct attitude for treating new customer, unlike other clinic that telling me to wait 4 hours.
The vet attending is very professional, calm, clarity is excellent and luckily following her recommendation she found mite egg on my puppy wound. She is a listener. My dog cough is subsiding now and hopefully his left eye cloud can clear with the prescribed eye drop. Pls pray for Oreo!

Not suitable for guinea pig to get treatments here as they are not professional enough. Called in before heading down and asked if they does treatment for guinea pig and they said yes they do. During consultant, I was told that the vet will check her teeth before moving on to the x-ray but instead, it was x-ray then checking of her dental. After the unnecessary x-ray, the vet told me that it was her dental problem and DID NOT have any tools for treatment. Not only that, the x-ray only shows her body but could not scan her internal teeth at all to detect the problems as told by the vet which was assumed by her. When I called in, why didn't the front desk told me that they did not have any dental tools? I could have saved the precious time of my guinea pig and went to those 24-hours clinic which has the tools instead that could had saved her life. Paid nearly about $150 but instructions were unclear with the medical given. Was only told to feed as much as possible. After she passed on, I went to read online and the liquid medicine given was supposed to be fed once every 2 hours. Extremely disappointed with the service received.

Brought my senior dog in for consultation. Vets are professional and nice. They even do follow up on the condition of my pet after a few days.
2 thumbs up!
