I bought a LUI-150A ice making machine for $2,500 in May 2016. It broke down twice during the warranty period. Unfortunately it broke down again 2 weeks ago. When I called U-save's boss Asmond Teo as he was the one recommended this to me, he said they don't have a technician repairing this machine so he called a 3rd party guy to come and repair. On his first visit the repair man commented that the motor bearing stuck so he just applied WD40 lubricant and it worked. I paid him $60 for the service which was perfectly fine. However the machine stopped after one day. I called the repair man which he came 2 days later and told me the motor was faulty and needed replacement. I agreed since there was not much choices I had. He collected another $180 and left. One day later the machine stopped again. He came down the next day and said the pipe was stuck. He wanted to collect another $60 which I refused to pay since he didn't do a proper job to ensure it worked during his first 2 visits. He was angry and left. Unfortunately one day after he left, the machine stopped working again!! I don't mind U-save used a 3rd party repair man as many companies do the same but I think they should at least qualify and recommend someone who is professional and know their job. The repair man that came was not only very rude and impatient, I don't think he really knew what he was doing. Yesterday I sent Asmond a message telling him the machine was not working again and asked him to recommend someone else to come and repair as it was affecting my operations but he didn't reply. I called him this morning as we were desperate to get the machine up and running but again he went into hiding without picking up or returning my call. Is this what you guys called after-sales service? We tried searched for someone to repair but there was only one company in Singapore willing to take up the job as most of them commented that this machine is not popular and they don't carry spare part for it. When the service man open up the machine he immediately commented that the motor is a fish tank motor which is not suitable for this usage! Because of the mismatch of the motor spec and dimension, the previous repair man actually bent the water pipe to force it to fit into the motor. Because of this, it created a 90 degree bend and obstructs water flow and caused it stopped working. I am totally speechless of the type of job and services and parts U-save and their so-called recommended repair man are providing.

They have the most variety of products i can find in Singapore. Price is great because whatever is on display at their showroom they have the stocks. My friend was a first time food service entrepreneur so he got alot of advise. Only recommend what he needed. Not pushy.

AVOID this company if you can, the brand NEW chiller broke down 2 times within half a year &the customer service sucks when you arranged for the technician to come, acted as if you are at their mercy and implied that you have to wait until they are free to serve you. HORRIBLE products & service, avoid at all costs!
