The VIP service from the moment you purchase their ticket till you board into their bus. All are taken care of. You will be updated from time to time if any delay. This kind of service very seldom you can get from express coach@bus companies. You will not regret in purchasing their tickets & enjoying their services.

The bus is so run down and full of small cockroaches !!! I kill at least 5 from Genting to Singapore . Think is time they revamp their solitaire buses if they still charging for a premium price. Upon reaching back to sin the driver took PIE all the way to almost changi .. turn into TPE back to Seng Kang . We took an additional 30min island tour ??

*** I would give ZERO stars if I could. Disgusting interiors and terrible customer service from the company.***
We selected the SOLITAIRE bus from SG to KL, swayed by some positive online reviews and pictures of the amazing lush interiors.
We could not have been more wrong with our choice.
The bus interior, despite some glowing online reviews and pictures, was disgusting. Some seats could not adjust the tilt or elevation. Some of chairs even have the "massage" feature broken. Some screens can't be used. It's a good thing that the bus was so empty that we could change our seats as we pleased. But yet, all the seats were severely lacking in decent maintenance and were filthy and disgusting; we had to brush out the dirt and gunk like peanut shells, and even had to wipe down the seats, armrests, controls, and screens with a wet wipe. Paint, plastic, and even the faux leather were chipping or cracked. There is a cubby hole meant for your bags, but it's filled with used tissue papers and garbage from another time. Probably from last year. The windows were smeared with the greasy Brylcreem of some old uncle, and the curtains had a rancid smell.
Nonetheless, seeing that we were duped and had no other recourse, we braved on from Singapore (at the Golden Mile Complex office) heading towards KL. Everything seemed okay passing the Singapore/Malaysian checkpoint, and once into Johor, we stopped by a gas station to pick up two service staff and our lunch meal.
The service staff were very nice, served us our drinks and lunch which consisted of Nasi Lemak from Killiney Kopitiam. Unfortunately, instead of some basic Nasi Lemak we would hope to at least get, this Nasi Lemak was far from our expectations. It was served with some lackluster Lemak rice, some anchovies and peanuts, a meager amount of sambal balacan, and... chicken nuggets.
Reaching KL was okay. The return trip wasn't much better, just that their office had a waiting area and provided air conditioning, coffee, and tea. Otherwise, the bus interior wasn't any better. Food back was a lunchbox of some chicken rice dish that tasted very weird.
Then the horror started. We went past Malaysian customs without a hitch, but going through Singapore customs took an excruciatingly long time. And when we finally got out of the immigration area, we were shockingly dumbfounded to witness the bus reverse out of the bus bay, and then proceeded to leave without us. It was too far away for us to do anything to stop it.
I called Transtar Travel immediately and requested for help, or what I should do. Lady on the line put me on hold for a solid 12 minutes, and when she got back to me, she just asked me to take a taxi back. I asked her if the company was going to reimburse me for the cost, she said no. I then asked her if I should engage my lawyer, then she quickly said "wait ah" and put me on hold for another 5 minutes, and then told me to take the next bus that was on the way. I asked her what time does the bus reach the immigration, she said in about 2 more hours. Which if you add on another hour's wait at the immigration area, that means 3 more hours before we can leave the immigration checkpoint!
We gave up. We had to pay another $2.50/pax (total $5) to take a bus to Jurong East, then from there another $30 for a cab just to get home.
If you're really on a tight budget, and really MUST take this bus, just go last minute and purchase a ticket from the office, and it'll save you 15 or more dollars. Just don't expect the beautiful pictures you see online, and expect to possibly get left behind at the customs. For us, we will never ever take Transtar Travel again!

Behind berjya time square. Nice people they were very helpful in allocating the seats. But the bus I chose was different from the one that picked us up to singapore. There is a car park close by in case you was people to send you off like my friend did. You can do quick purchase in the close by Watson's. The transtar travelling office had good aircon and space inside to sit. The bus we took though a different one was comfortable but took 8 hrs to reach SG due to traffic.

Bus was late for one WHOLE hour
Then they said we have to board a different bus. Which is a degraded one ( Bus Persiaran )
Paid 130 sgd for this ( from Golden Mile to Perak ) and what did i get? This ... bullshxt? Ridiculous

Bought the solitaire. Boarding from golden mile to kl. Late for 30 mins on a saturday morning ( reason given is bus stuck at custom) . Had to travel in a cramped 40 seater bus ( worse and a $3 dollar bus) to get to the custom to then again change bus. No communication between management and drivers whatsoever. Worse experience ever. Definitely not worth the price.

Bus took 10h for a KL-Singapore instead of 5h. Driver had an accident on the road. No communication to the passengers. Freezing cold and the blankets were taken back at the border whilst still another hour of bus. Why? Oh, and no seatbelts on the bus. Shame because the seats are actually comfortable, hot drinks and food were good.

Took Transtar first class from SG to KL and Transtar Solitaire back from KL to SG. Satisfied with both services. Seats in the Solitaire was great with a lot of space, although food served sucks big time. First class services are good enough and extra money paid for Solitaire is not worth it.
Booked though redbus which gave me awesome deal
Took SVIP coach again to KL. Overall good experience. Bus started on exactly on time. Fairly comfortable and neat bus although there was slight smell of cigarette inside the coach.

That was a terrible experience going from Singapore to KL. We arrived at the Golden Mile Complex on time only to hear (without being given any reason why) that our bus is going one hour later. So we waited there for 1.5 hours. At the chaotic KL border, we had to stay for two hours because all of a sudden we had a new bus including a new driver - everyone was confused and it took us ages to gather all people. At least we didn't leave anyone behind (as I've seen in other comments). When we finally arrived in KL after an 8 hour trip, the bus driver stopped at a different bus station in the outskirts of KL which was not the declared terminus. Fortunately we had a pretty cool guy from Singapore on the bus that called the Transtar headquarters and demanded that we were taken to the agreed on terminus (since everyone on the bus just stayed). The bus driver was pretty pissed but eventually he got us to our stop in the city center. Hands off this company...

Never again! On our trip from KL to Singapore Transtar abandoned us at the Singapore border. We were held up at immigration for approx. 20 min and when we exited, our bus had left without us. We waved & yelled at another Transtar bus, which nearly hit us when we tried to wave it down. The driver finally opened the door and let us in once we showed him our ticket. We went to the Transtar office on Beach Road and sent 2 emails explaining our situation. We had left a bag with drinks, snacks & blankets on the bus which must have been taken by the staff of the bus company & never returned. We didn't receive a refund or a compensation, not even a sorry for abandoning us in the middle of nowhere. Appalling service.

Dodgy. We had booked a luxury 18 seater to take us from KL back to Sgp. 2 hours before the trip, they call and say the 18 seater had broken down and they'll put us on a 38 seater. Yet when we boarded, the 38 seater was completely full. Sounds suspiciously like they just didn't want to send another bus so conveniently bunged us all together in a 38 seater to fill its seats, knowing it is next to impossible to change coach companies at such short notice.
Seats weren't comfortable. Seatbelts we broken, levers to control seat recline broken.
What a bad experience... Never again

very poor service, the cabin crew was not responsive, the chairs are not comfortable with most of massage chair buttons not working. Cleanliness is poor. The bus ran very slow while going to Kuala Lumpur as well as while coming back to Singapore. It took more than 8 hours each time. It seems there was something wrong technically which made them run at super slow speed. What you see in pictures is certainly not what you get. Given the high price charged, surely not worth it.

Took Solitaire coach number AGP666 from Genting back to Singapore yesterday afternoon. The service staff was very attentive and helpful. The driver was also very patient and understanding. My mum was caught in the jam at the Singapore customs counter due to groups of families clearing the customs at the same time and took a longer time. I had to ask him to wait longer although all other passengers had already boarded the coach. He said ok without showing any displeasure and also waited for my mum to take her seat before driving off. A very good service from the service staff and the driver. Thumbs up.

Dint know that transfer from Golden Mile to Malaysia entry will be on another double decker before we get to see Solotaire. Enjoyed Solitaire with hot drinks and meal. Massager was not working on my seat thpugh. Movies were good but dont forget to bring your own headphone. Transtar should improve passenger handling at Golden Mile...

Don't ever try to make a booking with this company!!! I have booked two tickets to KL on their website a week before departure. What happened when I turned up on the departure day the staff told me that the bus has broken down early in the morning and the trip is canceled. They claimed that they have been trying to contact but couldn't reach me. The funny thing is I do not even have a Whatsapp account and they claimed to have tried to reach me through the app. It is so ridiculous that the company offered a full refund when I expect to go on board according to my travel schedule without helping to make a new travel arrangement to rectify their mistake. This is so unacceptable as I have a morning flight to catch from KLIA airport and a full refund won't make me any good at the very last minute. After much conversation with the staff she offered to help to book tickets from other operator. The situation got even worse when I have to pay an additional of 34$ for my new tickets. I felt cheated but can't do anything as they left me with no choice. Obviously the company is so irresponsible and unreliable, do not deserve any business from any traveler. After much thought, now I suspect that it was just a show that the staff put on as an excuse to cancel the trip. My bus was scheduled at 7pm and was told that the bus was broken down early in the morning which they have enough time to get a replacement coach for the trip but not. You have the right to cancel the trip, if you do not have enough passenger and make the trip worthwhile. But you need to be responsible enough to inform in advance, or to do something to rectify. Transtar...NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!! Learnt from lesson...NICE Coach where you can take from The Plaza is much reliable and punctual. There were only 4 passengers in the coach that I took but the trip was still go on time as promised. Shame on you Transtar! Maybe you should just consider ending the business if you do not have the passion to deliver the service anymore.

Me and my partner got this company from KL to Singapore. The bus itself was nice and very comfortable. However when we go to the immigration into Singapore we had an issue with a souvenir in my luggage. I had to wait for it to be inspected as it was metal and the bus driver and attendant waited outside then spoke and left without us... we got stranded at the border with no Singapore money and no idea where to go. Lucky a bus took us into town for malaysian money so we could get a cab. Do not recommend!
